太平竹仔坑郵局，是車籠埔唯一一家郵局。承辦業務有存款、劃撥、繳費、包裹、國際郵遞、郵票買賣等，業務繁雜！每次去郵局寄包裹，都須抽號碼牌，並且要等一陣子，才能輪到。櫃檯窗口也沒增加，至今仍然沒有改善，去辦理存款或寄信要有1個小時的心理準備！
