I recommend to try pastas and spaghetti here, very very well done, the octopus is also a highly !!!

Amazing and one of the best Italian in my life. Fresh seafood fritos and pig ears pasta with well spiced chopped Salchichas is served al dented. Wine selections are also good. Baked Blue Cheese Cake is must try and suits red wine as well.

I soloed into this pasta restaurant with family and was thoroughly impressed with the food. The appetizers served were delicious. My favorite was the potato cheese pancake which had a twist of Taiwan and Italian flavors. The seafood soup was lightly flavored with wine and tasted delicious. The pasta dishes that arrived were really tasty and the cheese blended very well with the meat. Dessert on the other hand was average but not bad. I will return.

Definitely lived up to it’s rating, love the food, seasoned well, services are great, just don’t forget to book in advance.
For appetizer we ordered octopus that is recommended turns out to be so delicious goes so well with the mashed potato, for pasta the famous duck (personally prefer this one) & squid ink pasta both are great.
The only thing maybe the tiramisu, the alcohol tastes too strong to my liking because I don’t taste the espresso & it’s just one layer of finger lady, like please add more 🥲 but the sweetnes just perfect! Will try the other dessert next time 🥰

Delicious food, so good that we revisit time and again. A satisfying dining experience from appetizer to dessert. On the down side, the staff seem to be so busy that we have had to wait a while to be seated, for a waiter to take our orders, refill glasses and so forth, but the food makes up for it.

The food is really tasty and very traditional Italian food. The food deliver is good. The vibe is also good. I think that is appropriate to have a dinner with friends and share the food.

If you are looking for a place with a nice pasta, or Italian food and a good selection on wine: it is a go to place.
It may get crowded on Friday night or on weekends so it is always better to call them and book a table. Especially cool that they speak English and it’s not an issue for me as for foreigner.

The only 2 things that this place lack are: cheese plate, Italian sausages and meat plate.
It would be lovely to come to the Solo Pasta, have a glass of whine and a light dinner with cheese and Italian meat.

Hands down to the best pasta place in Taipei, it’s worth every penny and it’s not even expensive. The Wide Egg Pasta with Classical Meat Sauce Pappardelle alla Bolognese Classico is a 10/10, although you might need to ask the staff for extra cheese or the flavour would be too plain. My friend had Bacon, Egg, Grated Padano and Pecorino with Spaghetti, Spaghetti Carbonara Alabama, she’s a Spanish and she said the pasta is just as good as the ones she had in Europe! And the desserts cannoli is AMAZING!!! With their homemade tangerine jam, I have nothing else to describe. The tiramisu is classic and awesome too

My son and I adore this spot. We randomly stopped in without realizing it was this popular and they graciously fit us in without a reservation. Well, we ordered a small feast and loved every single dish. From the fried appetizers, pork chop, rigatoni, duck pasta... I mean, we ate until we couldn’t any more. And we still polished off the lemon custard. Did we like it? Yeaaaaaaaah. This is coming from folks who just got back from Rome. Thumbs up all around. Especially the service.

Staff:
Very friendly and helpful. They very attention to detail focused and even with a fully packed restaurant, 4 waitresses were enough to keep everybody at every table happy. They even had time to keep your water topped up. 👍👍👍

Food:
The food is spectacular, the egg plant appetizer is out of this world, it's very cheesey, a must try!
Main course: The pasta is slightly hard and on the under done side, which is how I like it. But where the real magic happens is with their sauce 🤩 5 star rating to the chefs that made the sauce. Its well rounded and full of spices and rich (but not over rich to the point where you get sick of it).

Drink:
We had the orange juice and cold coco, although most restaurant say it's "fresh orange juice" it usually is just bottled ones but here the Orange juice was freshly squeezed and tasted very fresh .

Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant if you looking for some quality pasta in Taipei, you will not be disappointed.

I ordered an asparagus appetizer, carbonara, and panna cotta! Everything was delicious. The carbonara was amazing (I really love good carbonara)!

If you are craving some delicious Italian food, come here and you won't have any regrets! 😋

Edit: I went back a second time! I tried new items this time: white truffle custard butter with bread, smoked duck breast pasta 😍, and tiramisu. Just like the first time, everything was fantastic! I can't wait to come back again!

Very good Italian food. The pasta and the lamb are both doing just fine. The desserts are fantastic. You can see all the innovations and tradition in the chiefs efforts. Worth a try.

Their slogan is “ someone who cares about pasta”, they didn’t fail it. Solo pasta could be the pioneer in Taipei that aims to offer high quality pasta with a relatively acceptable price, and they made it!! My personal love pasta is the Balsamic vinegar duck pasta, delicate balance of sour and creamy flavour, excellent!

I liked the chewiness of the pasta. The garlic and olive oil tasted great as well. Nevertheless, the service could have been more timely, including ordering and water refilling. In general I had a nice experience here, so I’ll still be willing to revisit.

Salad was real nice. Recommend the sauce. Great service. Bailey’s Mocha Latte was perfect. Restroom was in European style. They’ve got discount for birthdays too.

Spacious for family reunions or parties.

It is not that cheap yet good location and vibe making it quite worthy to try. Nice food, drinks and friendly staffs as well. I tried homemade sausage orecchiette with broccoli 🥦. Tasty 😋 😋 The alcohol is not as strong as classic Cosmopolitan, it light up the day though.
