L'Affection 法森小館

L’Affection is a wonderful French restaurant for both couples and families with kids. The menu is full of pasta dishes and various types of meats. In addition, there’s a lot of paid and street parking available. The customer service is friendly and helpful. Most of all, the bread and butter is amazing!

This was the holiday lunch set during the Oct 10th long weekend, everything was done well and service was friendly and attentive. We sat on the 2F, which was bright and there were lovely flowers on the balcony, natural light made the dining experience even more pleasant.

The nailed the freshly baked bread and butter, and the fish was perfectly cooked. The portions were generous and prices are fair. There were many tables celebrating birthdays and special occasions, hence it’s always a good idea to make reservations ahead of time.

Amazing french restaurant that has been a cornerstone of French cuisine in Taichung. While many restaurants in Taichung use a lot of gimmicks and glamour to get clients this restaurant has no need for any of that. From the amuse bouche to their main courses everything is done with amazing technique. The bread is amazing, you will want seconds but try to control yourself you might not make it to dessert.

Love this restaurant.. this is my 2nd time visit. Food and service are great as last time. I highly recommend L’Affection! Great value for the meal set. If you like to have meal pair with wine, there wine set is great too. Good selection on wine!

Excellent service by the staff, price is very reasonable for the food and service we received. The lamb chop I ordered didn’t have the typical smell of mutton, I was pleasantly surprised.

Very good French cuisine. Foods are fine and delicious. Make a reservation before you go.

Service and food was commendable. My favourite dish was the foie gras while my fiancé’s favourite was the Japanese scallops and crab soup. We both enjoyed the whole experience very much. Would definitely be back on our anniversary again. Cheers!

The restaurant provides relaxing atmosphere,good service and diversified meal. Pretty recommend to have meal with family.

One of my fav French restaurant though it used to be more homey. Still the food is great!

Nice to lunch place

Great service and the food is delicious. My wife loves it here more than me - she wanted to travel all the way from Taipei just to eat here. I'm not that crazy about it but they still deserve 5 stars.

Best French restaurant in Taichung!

A French bistro in Taichung that might be better than most of the bistros I've tasted in Paris. Classic French dishes are solid; superb iberico ham and extremely puffy soufflé,risotto might be a lil soft for my taste but almost every dish is authentic but more suitable for the Asian palette. Highly recommended.

Excellent and authentic French cuisine. It is probably one of the best French cuisines that you can get in town. The service is impeccable, but the parking is very limited.
