Safranbolu Turkish Restaurant 蕃紅花城土耳其餐廳

Didn’t know this restaurant exists!
The food is great. And we sat right by the windows next to lots of pretty Turkish lamps. We ordered a mixed place plus a salad and an appetizer. That’s a lot of food. But a Turkish dinner was not completed without dessert! Nice touch that they came with black tea.

It’s an amazing Turkish restaurant. Great food with a reasonable price. As of passenger were passing by on a day trip I cross this place. Very attentive waiters, Turkish cook did a amazing food.

The ambiance is great. Good food. Nice service. The clean and spotless restrooms is a big plus. Great dining experience!

Fantastic food. The grilled meat and chicken items on the menu were exquisite! Even the appetizers (soup and bread) were absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself had an amazing ambience. Would definitely recommend!

P.S - You may have to wait a while for your food. But it's definitely worth it. If you are looking for fast food, then this place is certainly not for you.

You will enjoy the dinner here! The soup, bread, roti, sauce and drinks are really good 👍🏻! The bbq set is also recommended.

Place is amazing. Food is superb! Just at the road side and easy to find. We go buy public transport. Service is excellent.

Owned by Turkish & Taiwanese I think. The food tasted the same as when I went to Turkiye. We had individual platter which was fulfilling.

The atmosphere is so beautiful, very peaceful and Turkish songs are playing all the time. Nice decoration 😍 the food is amazing and you can order 3 different types of appetizers for only 300$ TWD. Five stars 🌟

This place is a hidden gem in Taipei. Non descript from the exterior yet take a walk up to the 2nd floor and it's traditional Turkish decor and ambiance all around. I only tried the Safranbolu beef pide and it was crisp and flavorful.

Everything is sooooo good!
We love the pide crust and the beef inside is juicy.
The rice accompanied with kebab is special, like the rice I tasted before in south east asia.

Having been to Turkey a while back and fallen in love with their cuisine, we visited this exotic restaurant in search of the flavor we tasted during our time there and were not disappointed at all. The Turkish owners were very hospitable and willing to conversate with us, and we had a hearty conversation in both English and Chinese about their background and why they wound up here in Taiwan.

The restaurant is a mere 5 minutes away from Songjiang Nanjing MRT station by foot - surface via Exit 1, turn left and walk for a few hundred meters and the restaurant will be in view. Interior decor-wise, the restaurant is well-furnished with traditional Turkish lighting and ornaments. It is evident that the owners strive to transport customers to Turkey, as they also play upbeat Turkish music in the background.

In terms of food, we particularly enjoyed the Turkish pide dipped in Anatolian tomato soup as an appetizer. The main courses we had consisted of barbecues and kebabs and a salad, in addition to the Turkish baklava dessert which I highly recommend.

Pricing is alright for the food quality and service; we paid approximately 1,100 NT per person, though we were extremely stuffed after the meal so I guess that's acceptable for a foreign restaurant like this.

Overall, Safranbolu is a cozy and atmospheric Halal restaurant that you can add to your bucket list if you're in search of a warm albeit exotic dining environment.

Food is amazing and service is above and beyond.

Really lovely place.. the meal was very good...the atmosphere was nice and relaxed, soothing background music perfect after a hard day exploring...
