AHA Saloon

This is my favorite bar in Taiwan! The cocktails here are all very creative and fun to drink. The menu alone is beautifully made. The drinks are split up into 4 sections: one is their classics and the other sections are grouped by how strong it is. If you don't know what to get, their classics are amazing.

The bartenders are fantastic at recommending drinks and explaining the story/theme for each one. Overall it was a great experience and will definitely be coming back!

Came here because it's on the list of Asia's 50 Best Bar in 2022, and their drinks, services and overall atmosphere were all well done. They served cocktails with roasted nuts, so make sure you did not go with an empty stomach. We ordered four drinks in total, and all were very interesting with distinctive flavors. My personal favorite is Aphrodite's Lusty Dance (阿芙蘿黛帝的縱悄之舞), which is sweet and strong. Do note that they have minimum charge, so getting 2 drinks per person is quite usual.

A very well thought and executed establishment, very creative in their drinks and menu.

Service was superb but first timers are given a set of rules which are reasonable but might feel weird before you are let into the bar. You will understand it after you were seated down as it gives an exclusive feel and let you know that they know what they are doing and they do not want first timers to diminish the experience for others who patronize the place. Staff was very thoughtful and pays attention to your needs, like pouring of water when your glass of water is low.

Drinks was excellent as they make sophisticated but delicious drinks that makes you curious and appreciate every sip. Drink menu gives an elegant vibes and staff was very friendly to go through it one by one and answers questions when asked for recommendations based on our taste.

Overall a very quaint and pleasantly refreshing experience.

This is easily one of my favourite bar in Taipei while bar hopping! Lovely ambience and I like the service here. Staffs are friendly and provide good recommendations.

I had 2 drinks. We are Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil and River runs Deep. The first drink is made of Pink Guava, pear and green tea distillate and had matcha powder. I love the combination and still miss this drink. 😂 River runs deep is savoury and I like it too. Love the umami taste and is something different.

This is a great bar. The menu is interesting and innovative. The service was impeccable and the staff are friendly and helpful.

I hung out here and talked with many of the staff. I was traveling solo and they were all very friendly and it felt like I was hanging with friends.

I really enjoyed this place.

My girlfriend, who loves spirits and cocktails, brought me here, and I must admit, the cocktails are phenomenal! Despite not being an alcohol fan, I was impressed by the quality, reflecting the distinction of Asia's top 50 bars. I even ordered two cocktails which is very rare for me.

The staff and ambiance are equally fantastic—attentive, genuine, passionate, and kind-hearted. Special thanks to Gelo, Xiao Jie, and the tattooed bartender; you guys made our experience exceptional! I apologise if I got any names wrong, and to the unnamed bartender, sorry for not catching your name. Overall, I highly recommend this spot for anyone seeking a relaxed evening with outstanding drinks.

Must visit again. Love every drink that I drank that night. The owner Victor was very welcoming and nice.

Wonderful experience at AHA. Fortunate to allow us to have a 1AM reservation and still made room for us to order a few drinks. Super super friendly bartenders and super nice cocktails to follow.

There are not many seats in the store, and the seats at the bar can only accommodate 2 customers for a set.

I like the bright atmosphere of the store.
Cocktail is really goooooood ✨ average one glass is around NTD$400-$500.

Recommend their Bee’s knee & Gim 🍸very elegant and nice. By the way, the waiter is super diligent in adding water.

Awesome bar bringing out the best ingredients from Taiwan into their carefully crafted drinks. Bartenders are extremely friendly and likeable. Also love the loungey yet down to earth vibe of the bar.

Amazing speakeasy cocktail bar ranked as top Asia bar! Went from upstairs to bar seats to enjoy more the bartender atmosphere and service. The cocktails were nicely prepared and presented with interesting matching of flavours.

Didn’t get the bartenders’/mixologists’ names, but they were warm, welcoming and amazing at what they do.

We got to try a drink that is due to appear on the next menu, Library Of The Universe (highly recommend). Other than that, Hello Goodbye and Meet Shalimar at Mine were standouts - uniquely balanced and complex, all while tasting absolutely delicious.

For those who are new to cocktails or are looking for an easy introduction, Tree of Knowledge is a great choice.

Will definitely be back the next time we’re in Taipei!

I thought this was one of the most unique cocktail bars that I’ve experienced.

The menu is filled with interesting ingredients from vetivier to mustard Cointreau to tobacco kombucha. Nothing tastes like what you would expect and every single one of the 8 drinks my friend and I tried were phenomenal.

The staff was friendly and helpful when selecting a cocktail — easily explaining drinks on the menu in comparison to classic cocktails. We really enjoyed sitting at the bar and chatting. The drinks here were also very quick to prepare — many of them have complicated recipes and AHA Saloon has done a great job pre-prepping the mixes, tinctures, and syrups and get them out in record time.

The bar itself is easy to find and located on a fairly large street. There is a small couch and some tables throughout the darkened space, and it looks like it would be good for small groups. It would be hard to say which was my favorite drink since there was so many unexpected surprises but if I had to choose I would highly recommend the vetivier drink — a grassy ingredient that is often in perfumes.

Love their exquisite signature cocktails. The ones I had are all complex yet perfectly balanced. We had a delightful time at AHA Saloon.

The best cocktails I’ve tried in Taipei. Creative flavors with delicate smelling. The only drawback is that there isn’t any food served but nuts. Highly recommend anyway.
