Carrefour Love River Store

So lucky to have this superstore near my house. Has almost everything with easy parking, free for 30minutes or totally free with purchase.

Huge selection of beauty, cleaning materials, basic hardware, all bathroom needs, food products and fresh produce, home appliances, souvenirs, plants living and artificial, garments, eyewear, sport shoes and more.

On the ground floor, telephone accessories store, houseware, hair cutters, Starbucks, a sushi place, Mcdonalds and a teppanyaki place. On the second floor is a large general table seating area (both air conditioned and open air) and various restaurants and dining options.

Service is very good in the supermarket, seldom need to wait long to cash out because aside from human cashiers, there are several self service payment facilities. When looking for something, service staff can easily be found and they all have radios to ask colleagues when they cannot answer your query.

Returns and refunds are super easy. When you save your official receipt to your membership, you are notified by sms when you win in the bi monthly government lottery☺

We have been there 18 times during our 5-week stay in Kaohsiung.

Although the variety of locally produced fruits was limited in February, there were lots of vegetables and organic beans there which were required for healthy eating.

The cashiers were helpful and kind.

If I come to Kaohsiung again, I would stay near Carrefour.

A good Carrefour with a lot of options and things to buy.

This is a very big and very spacious Carrefour which is good because they probably have whatever you need, but it can also be hard to find stuff. Floor staff are very friendly and offer help when they pass by, but the checkouts are very slow and there aren’t enough of them for a store this size.

Has pretty much everything you could need and it's fast.
Everything from food, to hygiene supplies, clothing to admin supplies, household goods etc.
Very convenient, free parking and the staff are really helpful despite the language "barrier" if there really IS such a thing.

One of the few Carrefour with outright free parking (although most others end up being free with purchase). Has the usual food places as well. We like the eyeglasses / optical shop here.

Who doesn’t like Carrefour?! This is heavens for expats - like me, especially being French - with so many products from France/Europe/the world!

I shopped at Carrefour in Taipei since 1985, in Kaohsiung in 2019 and in Xiamen since 2017.Carrefour is always my first place to shop on my trips because of quality and variety of items at reasonable prices and staff are helpful. Paid fresh bakery and cooked foods can be consumed nearby. As a smart budget shopper, this is the place.
At the Carrefour Love River Kaohsiung store, free drinking water in dispensers are located at many stations. I bought pillow cases that are soft and lint free, 3M face masks and souvenir key chains there.
I will visit Carrefour stores again when travel restrictions are normalized with easing.
Any shopper is welcomed no need for membership!!
City buses from Kaohsiung Main station heading west a distance of about 2 .5 km with travel time of 20 mins stop about 100 meters from main entrance. This store is just alongside the east side of the Love River before crossing the bridge.

How many times to come here and to buy a lots of thing's ...sometimes we eat here ...a lots of food house inside ...Carrefour is really nice and easist ....for all ..and its nearest. To my living place ....Thanks for for making me me ..loved it at your department.....

Probably the biggest Carrefour store I have ever visited.

Huge selection of everything you could imagine from local and imported brands. Clean and orderly layout, excellent customer service, samples, and good deals if you take the time to find them!

The Carrefour is really a good place for shopping. Almost you find many things you need from the vegetables and fruits to electronics market...

Its a very big supermarket, variety of products are available. Fruits and vegetables are bit expensive here but many other products are cheaper.

Pleasant location.....can shop for groceries and grab a couple of McD burgers while enjoying love river's beauty
