Recommend to drive up yourself. We took a taxi here and the bus back, it’s either you spend a lot of money or time, if you don’t have your own transportation.
We definitely want to come back.

Always give it a try to complete the 山嵐小徑 trail there. In around an hour you will see great mountain scenery and at the end of the walk truly appreciate the locally grown coffee.

Beautiful place!

A beautiful, peaceful place that has the scent of fresh pine trees. The aboriginal food available in the restaurant is a fair price and very tasty. Best to allow for a minimum of 5 hours here to enjoy. But you could easily spend a day here if you wanted to tackle all the trails.

It's a nice, peaceful getaway on the outskirts of Taichung.

There are several extremely short trails throughout the entire place. It would be good to go there in the early morning and leave sometimes in the afternoon. There are several springs as well to dip your feet in.

Do know there will be groups that travel through here. There is an entrance fee per person and a parking fee.
There is also a public transportation that takes you there.

Nice place to hike around and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery.

Quite place. Lots of trails to select to walk based on the personal capability. Most of the trails are still preserved their original status, not too many infrastructure in the trails, which is good to enjoy the beautiful scene and its quiteness. BTW, staying two days is insufficient to complete all the trails. Both Jenny and I love this place, next time we would stay longer to complete all the trails. And also suggest enjoying the coffee there (山林巷一號).

Great place for a picnic.

Only an hour away from Taichung, you can enjoy some beautiful flora and fauna in Huishun. They have a convenience store and some cabins where you can stay overnight, though the prices are a bit steep.

Relax and fresh your mind and lung, open grassland for family and picnic, cabin and hotel, restaurant are all available, very hiking trail required basic training, I was cycling up to the top, small challenge and bet enjoy.

Very relaxing place for family vacation. There are trails for all levels of people with different capabilities. Beautiful scenery, abundance of insects, animals and vegetations.

Absolutely lovely and astonishing place to be! Located in the center of Taiwan, a montainous forest with high biodiversity and breathtaking views. A must visit place :)

Beautiful place . I highly recommend it if you are in Renai or Guoxing. Great places for camping all around, and fantastic scenery.
