Pleasant hiking area with paved trails accessible from several directions, including Muzha, Wanfang and Jingmei. Great scenery along the route. Some toilets are also available.

The scenic paths under the blue sky and friendly visitors always attract me and help me relax. I can't help but pay visits every weekend.

It feels like you escape the city and go back in time in some places on the trail. There are butterflies up there too.

Easy trail to walk and close to the MRT. You may have to take a taxi or bus if you walk all the way to the end, or go backup the way you came. In a few places there are two trails going in the same direction, so you want need to cover the same ground twice. The nicest way to go is the higher trail which goes above the temple at the West end of the trail. From the top, you can see both sides of the mountain. There are several places to rest along the way, and it doesn't get very crowded on the weekends. It is a steep accent and descent at the start and finish.

My favorite "mountain" in Taipei. It's a magical place where you can get lost on the trails and stumble upon a beautiful view of Taipei, a forgotten temple, graveyard, or a lush meadow. It's quite well signposted and the main trail is lit up at night. Do visit this spot - it's among the best kept secrets of Taipei

A great escape for the hustle and bustle of Taipei. There are about 5 ways to get up with probably about 8 paths from the top ranging from dirt paths to well built stairs. Very well kept!

30 min up, 30 min down if in good shape!

This is my second time taking the trail. Definitely go during daylight hours, as wild dogs seem to roam the area. It's an easy path. Really relaxing.

Xianjiyan/Jingmeishan (仙跡岩/景美山) is a small and convenient mountain escape that offers more trails than one might expect, and some of the main trails are lit at night.

Very interesting, challenging, well paved hike that virtually connects two MRT stations. Great views of Taipei.

10 to 15 mins away from the city. Can see both side view of the city and the mountain (Mt. Wulai)
