The Speakeasy Irish Bar

I felt welcomed as soon as I stepped in. The waiters are super friendly, they actually engage with their clients. Even though I went there alone, it took me two minutes to have a conversation with other clients at the bar thanks to the fact that the waiter was talking to everybody. They also know how to serve a Guinness, and that's no joke.

Great Irish pub, owned by a real Irish guy. The drink selection is Irish and international, and simply a good time feeling you will get there.

After a missed flight and lost hotel reservation I ended up at this place about 12:45. The kitchen was closed, but the very kind and drunk bartender went back and made me a beef stew with bread that was fantastic. The drunk and friendly bartender put away 3 red wines and 15 shots of Jameson and Tequila between 1am and 4:30am. It was one of the most impressive drinking displays I have seen on my travels. It was like the drinking scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark. She ended the night totally coherent which was incredible. This place is great with Christy Moore, Luke Kelly on the walls and Jukebox and a friendly group of travelers and expats. A big thank you to Luna and Helen.

It's a typical Irish pub but in the heart of Taipei. Staff are friendly, everybody seem to talk each other. Great overall experience.

Very friendly and welcoming pub. Behind the wooden exterior lies a different world. Walls are plastered with pictures of Ireland. Incredibly snug and homely. Helen and her staff make your really feel welcome. This pub is many a mile from Dublin, but the pint of Guinness is exceptional

What could be better than being greeted at an Irish pub by an Irish setter? Guinness always merits 5 stars.

What a great place to eat drink and meet people from all over. I had a really good time with everyone. Helen is great she runs the place. I met people from Ireland, Germany and of course Taiwan.
