晴光紅豆餅 Red Bean Pastry

The chain is a very popular franchise for traditional Taiwanese sweet, red bean cake (红豆饼). Despite its name, it has many flavors (both sweet and savory) and is one of the must try street food of Taiwan.

Massively stuffed pancakes with choices of custards, red bean paste, or radish. They started as a small push carts at the same corner their shop stall is now. They totally deserve it.

Pastries filled to the brim with warm red beans. When we arrived, they had sold out for one of the three flavours. We got the red bean one, and it was delicious. Very affordable too!

Taiwanese Imagawayaki or called 車輪餅. Even though this shop only sells 3 flavors, they all taste delicious and TWD$10 for each is such a good price. Definitely will go back!

This traditional taiwanese dessert is a must go. Its very inexpensive and taste great, best of all its made like what i remember as a young child; crispy on the outside and soft inside. Most of the time there will be a line but it just means everything will be fresh. Highly recommended.

Just 12 TWD each! Choose between custard or red bean flavor, fillings are pretty generous. I personally prefer the custard a lot more than then Red bean, so if you're not too hungry from your meal, the custard is a must have. Cheap and good dessert!

One of the best Red Bean Pastry I ate in Taipei. It’s in a quiet busy area which you can enjoy the taste food and grab one pasty as a dessert. I suggest you to try the cream one.

Delicious snack really hit the spot on this cold Sunday night. Had a custard cake only at 12NT. Will get the red bean and Daikon versions next time.

Piping hot, and the wheel cake is filled with so much filling! The casing was very thin and fine, eat more than one!! :)

Unbelievable affordable but with amazing and incomparable quality for the simple (but more and more rarely seen) traditional Taiwanese snack.

Stop here way too often. Extremely cheap and very delicious! Perfect dessert when you’re walking home in the neighborhood

I would say the food is cheap, considering it is a delicacy found in street stalls all over Taiwan.
