This is a very nice park right next to Jasper Villa in Xinyi. It is very green with lots of paths to walk and run. The best part is the "Frog" part where there is a vertical and ESG-like farming sight for locals to grow vegetables. This portion of the park has many vegetables that can teach our next generation of how vegetables are grown and kept. Overall, a nice experience so if you are in the area, come and check it out.

A very popular hiking trail which provides amazing cityscape views. This is a well marked trail with tons of people, so you can't become lost. Unfortunately there's lots of stairs which hurts the knees and a swamp of people with huge cameras. It's still highly recommended though

Going up with thousand steps was a struggle but you would be rewarded with an amazing view of the city specially Taipei 101 .Going here was an easy maneuver from the metro since there is a direction pointing to the pathway

This park was lovely. We loved the small hike of the elephant trail. It is relatively easy with stairs to go up the hill. Up there you have a great view of Taipei city. There are many branching routes that you can take to extend your hike and visit temples and others. You can go back down using the same way, or even better you can make a round and going back in the park.

Easy to reach by MRT and a must do during your visit of Taipei. Kids and elderly can also do it. On top of that it is free!

Takes full 30 minutes to do all the steps to reach the top. View was spectacular. Good to go up in the late afternoon and hang around at the photography platform until after it's completely dark. There are lamp posts along the way so no worry about coming down in complete darkness

Playground for kids is well prepared. Paths and green plants make the park worthwhile to take a walk.
Everything after reconstruction months ago goes way better, nowadays children sport there and parenting parents are often seen on those sunny days.

We came across this park during our toilet braek and my kids have some fun here for 10 min. Not a superb exciting park but it's decent clean and organised with a big public toilet next to it.
Slight taipei 101 building can be seen from here

Passed through with the intention of going up Elephant mountain, but got too exhausted, so sat here for two hours.

Crazy how many elderly people were there exercising. One woman, at least 70 was doing exercises, I couldn't do when I was 20. Let alone now. Good luck to them.

It is right outside of the MRT station, easily accessible to the public. It provides a welcoming entrance to people who are walking towards Xiangshan hiking trail. You usually will see a lot of hikers walking to or from the trail. Other than a passage for the hikers, the park has amenities such as a children's playground and basketball courts. There are many people walking or running on the park loop throughout the day. There are kids running and playing on the grass or adults doing Tai chi or martial arts on the hard grounds. There are plenty of activities for any sort of age, and I believe people would enjoy the park for relaxation and to have fun.

The place is so cozy. It’s a nice place to relax or exercise. There’s a basketball court, a small field to gym, jogging track, and children’s playground. There are some benches and gazebos to rest. The place is so clean.
You can also bring your pet here.
To reach here, just take a metro red line to Xiangshan station.

Nice and short trail which is perfect for anyone to trek. There are many aliens species plants and flowers to be discovered along the way up. If you are looking for a quick trekking in the Taipei city, you may consider coming here.

This is a great park to bring kids to and a nice alternative to Da An park. The playground area is perfect for kids 8 and under. There's a lot of seating for parents with large bathrooms nearby (family bathrooms too). It's very close to the Xiangshan Shan MRT station so easy to get to.

One of my favorite parks in Taipei with nice playground for kids. Xiangshan Trail starts nearby. It's short by steep. All stairs and paved. Beautiful view of Taipei, especially at sunset.
