Hotel i Journey Taipei

The place was really nice for the price, the bathrooms had heated floors and heated toilet seat, the air conditioning was strong and crisp which is very much needed if you’re visiting in the summer/early fall months. The location is incredibly convenient, it is literally a minute walk from the red line MRT station, and it is close to the night market as well. The MRT makes it super easy to visit a lot of Taipei and it made the trip super fun. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, they are super quick to respond to email and requests. As for the other reviews saying that the location is loud, I can see that being the case if you were used to sleeping in dead silence. The location is much quieter than where I normally live so it was very comfortable and the bed was very comfortable too. The place smells really nice and clean, and housekeeping do a really good job and they are super quick too.

Wonderful hotel. The staff is very caring and the rooms are modern and clean. Excellent location only 2 minutes from MRT. TV in the room was broken but otherwise perfect hotel.

Excellent service, great coffee and tea, free water and snacks in the room, free mobile wifi unit to explore the city. Also, the rooms are spacious (hard to find in Taipei) and was able to accommodate our travel crib; and they are beautifully designed and are very comfortable. Our room had two separate washrooms (one toilet) with a shower in one and a tub in the other, which was very useful with young children. The hotel is easy to get to from the airport - take the 1819 bus to the ambassador hotel and walk 2 minutes. It is also a block away from the MRT station and a good walk to the night market and Dihua Street (and other popular attractions). We had a great time.

I think this is pretty good hotel. Room is very clean and everything is good looking and working well. It’s spacious and has most if amenities you can expect from mid class hotel such as fridge, table, big screen tv and so on. My room has 2 bathroom and one of them has fancy bath tub. Hotel provided 4 water bottles per day which is quite nice. Coffee at the lobby which is full automatic espresso machine. Location is one of the best. Only 100 yd to MRT station and Ningxia night market is 10 min walk away. As hotel is near market area, there’s convenient access to local food, fruits etc. I definitely will stay again later

The room is small and the building seems to be old but the hotel itself is good. It is located near train stations, hospital and different restaurants and convenience stores. The staff are excellent and helpful. The room and bathroom is clean. Good value for money. I'd stay here again.

Rooms a little on the smaller side for family (3 people), but when we visited at the end of 2018 it was very well maintained, had really good amenities and very very close to public transport and decent night spots surrounding it for eating out , will try to stay here again if I visit Taipei. (small note, the entrance can be hard to locate inside the security doors on first arrival).

Very nice hotel. Clean, not to loud despite big street, complementary coffee and tea at reception. Nice bathroom with both shower and bathtub with mood light.
And biggest TV I’ve seen in hotel room ever(60”-70”).

I am impressed with this hotel. The room is very comfortable, with a side sofa and a king size bed with 4 fluffy pillows. Abt 3 min away from subway stations, there’s a lot of eateries around the corner too. I strongly recommend this hotel to those who are looking for area off town!

This hotel was an amazing place to stay. The value you get for the price is incredible. It is so convenient to the metro line to take you to different parts of the city. It is also walking distance to NingXia night market, and other things close by.

The staff refreshed our waters every day and the room A/C always kept it comfortable which was important as we visited in the middle of summer.

They also provide a free wifi Hotspot you can carry around so you don't have to deal with worrying about your international data roaming usage.

There is no pool or restaurant but we were not interested in those things as we were always out exploring the city.

My only complaint which I hope they address is that upon arriving at 830pm, the front door to the building is locked and there is a phone, but there is no sign or note that says how to call up to the front desk to have them open it for you. We were standing there confused for about 10 minutes with our luggage until someone happened to exit the building so we went in.

Upon checkin they said we were supposed to dial 9 on the phone as if that were somehow obvious. Overall still a 5 star rating, I'm just putting the suggestion here to help make it even better.

Stayed 4 nights and literally no complaints for this place. Staff were inviting, friendly and courteous. Free snacks and drinks which are refilled daily. Necessities like toothbrush, cotton buds, hairdryer and whatnot are also provided. Love the comfortable bed, the huge TV, and there is a separated shower and bath tub (with ‘atmospheric’ lights to relax’). Close proximity to the MRT station (2 stops away from Taipei Main Station & 1 stop away from Zhongshan where we can change to green line for Ximending and Raohe Night Market etc). It’s also close to Ningxia Night Market and many other interesting eateries! Although it was a little hard to find the place initially as the hotel itself is at 4th floor of unassuming shop lots, a little asking around didn’t hurt and we found it rather quickly. All in all, I’d definitely stay here again!

We booked this hotel for 3days stay. The hotel staffs were very friendly! They helped us in getting our way around Taipei and other small requests. It’s a 2 mins walk from Shuanglian station. Starbucks is around the corner. There’s no free breakfast though. But after going to night markets, who needs free breakfast?

Room is small but everything is very well furnished and decorated. Snacks were great. Soundproofing could be better but I wasn’t bothered by it. Overall really great stay!

It’s always a great pleasure to stay in I journey hotel taipei! Staff are very nice, room is clean and the atmosphere is great. I can highly recommend this hotel as regular guest who come every few weeks to Taipei on business from Singapore.

Rooms are clean, bright and spacious. Location is very near amenities and the MRT. Generous supplies on the drinks and snacks. Best of all, unlimited coffee supply. Price is consider cheap.

Near the mrt. Good location. Lots of places to eat. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. There is construction ongoing so expect some noise. Also the rooms are not sound proof so you better keep the tv on if you want some privacy.

Really good hotel. Very good value for what you pay for. You get a really big room with a big TV. Free coffee and tea at reception and it's only a 2min walk to the Metro Station.

Location here is perfect of 5 mins walking from MRT; the best things in is a single level bathtub in the room and exceed what I expected for room space, last, cost is extremely economic!

Best hotel i ever stayed in Taipei for this range of hotel. Room price was acceptable, room was cleaned n comfortable. Location was good n convenience. I will be back on my next stay.

We stayed at the hotel 2 nights, the room was very clean, had nice bathroom and complementary coffee and snacks, 5 minutes from metro station, would definitely stay again.
