La Mole Taipei

La Mole came highly recommended by an Italian coworker, and it certainly lived up to the hype. The pasta was outstanding, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Beyond the delicious food, the service was exceptional, with attentive staff ensuring a memorable dining experience. If you're in Taipei and craving authentic Italian cuisine, La Mole is a must-visit spot that won't disappoint.

I visited La Mole years ago and on my first trip back to Taipei after a long time I came back and happily found out this restaurant is still serving authentic Italian food.I had starters, homemade pasta and dessert pair with wines. Dishes were well made and presented. Wine selection was suggested properly and the service was very attentive and friendly, I loved their care and smiles. I like this place and as an Italian away from home for business very often I like to keep this restaurant in Taipei as my place to feel a bit closer to Italy. Well done indeed!

This is the absolute hidden gem of Taipei. I love Italian food so I always want to explore what it's like in every country I visit. This one is by far the best one I know now. Apart from great food and drinks, the service is also great. Every staff member is helpful and kind and the menu and day specials are all fantastic. It is nicely decorated and for me the location was also convenient. I can really recommend this place, I love it and I will be back soon. Ciao!

The dining experience at the Italian restaurant was exceptional. The roast beef appetizer, paired with sweet and sour red onions and Ricola salad, was a delightful combination of flavors.
The handmade gnocchi alla bava was airy and delicious, accompanied by a creamy, aromatic sauce that was perfectly rounded off with walnuts. The special order of rigatoni with four cheese sauce won my mother over completely, leaving her very happy. The pan-seared duck breast, seasoned with pink pepper and served with potato puree, was incredibly tender. However, my father felt that a larger portion of potato puree would have been preferable to feel fully satisfied, and warmth in serving would be appreciated next time.

The view into the kitchen added to the vibrant yet pleasant atmosphere. The standout element was the friendly waiter who passionately described the dishes, making it enjoyable to listen to him. It felt as if the waiter was there exclusively for us. The chefs aspire to make any special wishes come true! Overall, a delightful culinary experience with great ambiance and attentive service.

We have been coming back to La Mole the past few years. The charcuterie and homemade pickles are amazingly delicious. The fusilli is sublime that we just couldn’t let the phone eat first.
The only downside for me is the seating arrangement that tables are a bit too close together. You can easily overhear other tables’ conversation. Regardless of that, it’s still my favourite Italian restaurant in Taipei.

A fine Italian restaurant with fine dining and good service. The choices of wine were quite adequate with a variety of choices. However, it will be much better if more choices were available. The dishes were quite delicious with traditional tastes of Italian style, but with slight modifications to fit the normal taste of Taiwaners. The price was a little bit high, but appeared reasonable for the quality.

Not only is the food fresh and delicious, but this restaurant is glowing with authentic Italian culture. The owner is wonderful helpful and lovely person. A great place for a date, a special day, or hanging with friends. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing. His food is more than delicious, they are works of art. We love it here!! I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Benissimo! I didn’t expect it to be this good cuz having tried some Italian restaurants in Taipei, my experiences weren’t too delightful. But this one is mind blowing. I love everything. Especially the tomino cheese and patata gnocchi. Nice and friendly staff. Very attentive!

As a person that appreciates thoughtful cuisine and wine pairings, La Mole is one of my go-to Italian restaurants in Taiwan. The chef-owner is from the Piemonte region of Italy, and the menu reflects the delicious, diverse flavors of this particular region. To complement the cuisine is a very good and reasonably priced wine list, and a newly remodeled space, with soft, natural colors, textures and lighting. I really feel at home here. I honestly have never ordered from the menu directly, rather just let the chef know what I feel like eating and my appetite, and am thus presented with a bespoke meal that is always satisfying.

Tradition meets modernity in this Piedmontese joint. Tastes are genuine, with a modern touch of personality from the chef. Very good wine list.

Secret menu make us surprise, service great, comfort space, you can watch chefs cooking. Recommend come to try it, I will visit again!

Amazing Italian restaurant!
As an Italian, I found all the food very authentic and delicious. The homemade prosciutto is really something else.
Highly recommended!

Yummy food and comfortable atmosphere. We had dinner last night. The soft shelled salad, cold cut meat platter, fresh pasta with duck/porcini sauce and dry aged rib eye steak all are very tasty. Wine selection is not a lot but appropriate.

The perfect dining experience.

Cute and cozy interior. We were welcomed by friendly waiters and seated. The menu and additional specials were explained to us. Appetizers ranged from 200NT to around 450 NT. Entrees ranged from 350NT to around 1000NT.

The pasta was perfect. Seasoned perfectly! The lamb chops was cooked perfectly too, moist and absolutely delicious.

These two dishes were by far the best dishes I’ve had. It was an expensive dinner but well worth it.

We were able to stay till 10:15pm. There was a huge birthday dinner there as well and it was quite noisy but the waiters apologized for that.

this restaurant is really performing well on the food itself, not playing the food like some famous ones. with the very affordable price.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Taipei, it’s cozy, comfortable and the food is good. Chef Simone is from Piemonte, hence he makes real authentic Piedmontese dishes, but as well as few classic dishes from the center and south of Italy.

They are quite popular, so make sure you call ahead for reservation:)

As a 100% foodie and wine lover, this restaurant always delivers quality, great atmosphere, amazing real genuine Italian food.
Very friendly staff, newly renovated cosy interior, and lately some amazing new dishes on the menu.

Very nice Italian food for a reasonable price (6ppl for about 6600, including one bottle of house red). The service was friendly and very responsive. Favorites included the pasta and the Kavalan-marinated pork.

Really enjoyed the food, wanna revisit with friends next time so I can order for all the dishes I want~
