This petite shop offers a wonderfully cozy retreat for dessert enthusiasts. It's nestled in a charming neighborhood and offers a warm, inviting atmosphere despite its limited seating. We really appreciated the attention to detail and the owner's hospitality, who told us some lovely stories about the shop's history and some of the menu items. The menu itself is varied and the spicy tofu pudding was a delightful surprise. This innovative variety combines the soft, silky texture of traditional tofu pudding with a gentle kick of spice that enhances rather than overwhelms the palate. The tapioca balls are another highlight, perfectly chewy and subtly sweet, providing a delightful contrast to the creamy tofu pudding. We visitied around 8pm on a Friday and found the shop bustling yet managed to snag a spot just in time. A gem in the local culinary scene!

The tofu pudding store up the street is the very popular one with long lines. I went to this one based on it having a much higher review. This place didn’t disappoint. I’ve never had tofu pudding and this made me a fan. The flavor was really good and it was far from overpowering. It was a refreshing dessert that I would love to have again.

The store itself was very small and only had 4 seats but it felt very inviting and had a nice vibe. I’m very glad I went here and could support this business.

Everything about this little place is beautiful!We bumped into it randomly and we were served delicious tofu pudding with peannuts and tapioca and some freshly brewed oolong tea to the pudding. It was delicious. The lady who served us spoke English and explained a few interesting facts about the dish as well.

Why shouldn't you enjoy a Taiwanese delicacy surrounded by beautiful wooden furniture, classical piano music and golden rimmed bowls? There's a time for the mom and pop shop with flourescent lighting and all the different toppings and sometimes ya just want something nice. The peanut candy shavings were a nice textural contrast to the smooth dohua. Drop by for a small bite and lovely ambiance.

A nice tofu pudding shop with limited seatings. Tofu with peanut was quite nice. The spicy tofu pudding is certainly unique and an acquired taste. Slightly slow service but you can see that the owner puts care into the food. Price quite high compared to traditional tofu shops but considering the location it’s understandable.

Absolutely love the ambiance and interior design here! My friend is a fan of tofu pudding and took me to her favorite store. We appreciate the Japanese style and enjoyed good time here. As for the dishes, I think they are okay and the price is reasonable. Will come back to try more for sure.

This shop got all those flavors, we got chance to try the spicy tofu pudding, it’s pretty good. The sweet flavor from yesterday is also good.

Such a cute shop! There’s only a few seats, but it’s a pretty quick place to stop by for a few mins to snack. We got the tofu pudding with everything on it to share, and it was absolutely divine!

A friend recommended this place because she knows how much I like the aboriginal culture and Taitung.

I enjoy the light meals with handmade bread and salad. The waitress said all of the salad ingredients are from Taitung. My favorite is the sweet tofu flower. Today is my happy VEGAN day!!!

BTW, there is live music. The girl sings so well and the acoustic guitarist play softly to accompany her.

Wonderful experience here! The sesame noodle set meal was delicious. There was one lunch set that was already sold out when we went at 12:30PM which was a bummer. We also ordered the mixed tofu pudding, which was nice and light, and a tea set, which they showed us how to prepare and pour the traditional way. Together with the vibe of the whole place (tatami mats, etc.), this made for a unique Taiwanese experience.

Very calming, pleasant tea house with vegetarian meal sets available. Try one of their teas paired with a snack. The one-bite almond pastry is popular and a nice nibble. There’s an English menu available. Friendly service.

Best soft tofu in town. A small cold tea was served after the tofu treat, a nice touch.

Lovely tea house! The decor and ambiance is a mix of modernity and tradition, and the service is very friendly too - not stuffy and rigid like other tea houses.

The tea were good and tasty. I do have to say that I’ve had better oolong and pu-erh at elsewhere, but those came at a very hefty price and stuffy service. This place, on the other hand, was fun & very affordable. We ordered plenty for 2: some snacks (the taro cake was very delicious!), 2 pots of oolong, a cold-brew, and it came out to ~$40USD which is a steal (most other places will charge $40/person minimum).

Really tender tofu curds. The 花生酥peanut brittle is delicious too.

Price is reasonable at 70-85 a bowl depending on what toppings you get.

Came here on the Thursday night. I'm honestly blown away, the atmosphere was amazing, the service was impeccable and the beancurd is silken smooth. There was also live acoustic music. Highly recommend, would definitely come again.
