Unknown Lounge bar

This bar is an underrated hidden gem in the fashionable Da’an area of Taipei. Great place to chill alone or bring a date; good, lounge-like vibe that doesn’t get too loud or crowded. It’s owned by a former Taiwanese rockstar who is very involved in the day-to-day operations, sometimes cooking food and making drinks. She’s super friendly and speaks great English. The drinks are excellent and the bartender is a skilled mixologist who can make anything. All my friends who I bring here love it. I visit here every time I’m in Taipei. Great spot for Taiwanese and foreigners alike. It’s conveniently located near a subway station , although perhaps a bit hard to find — just follow the Google directions to the entrance and the bar is down the stairs.

I'm very happy to have found a bar where can easily speak in English! The staff and customers are all very warm and friendly, the music selection is excellent, and the cocktails are unique and outstanding! It's a place where you can enjoy a quiet and drink pleasant.

I discovered this place among 6 years ago - 'til this day, it's still one of my favorite bars in Taipei. Back in the days, they used to serve these freshly baked pretzels...they were the best!! Unfortunately that's gone now...their off-menu umeshu cocktails are to die for ☝🏼

You could find some limited edition drinks which brought back by the store owner. Chill, calm, suitable for friends who enjoy talking and drinking.

Delicious drinks, very professional staff (sorry for one of our friends who was drunk and too loud sometimes!!), super cozy atmosphere and very yummy drinks from their melon flavored shots to long Island ~ would definitely recommend 😋 very cozy couch seating too! Only thing is I wish AC was stronger, it was very warm down there!

The unknown lounge bar is a great place in a great part of one of Asia's most enjoyable cities. Elaine the proprietor is a sweet and helpful woman who has a great bartender that knows his stuff. Check this place out
