The Gongguan riverside is always a nice area to check out. There are many outdoor bars around and the vibe is always lively and fun. It’s a nice area to go to as a big group of friends because there are plenty of tables and chairs to encompass everyone. The drinks are affordable and you can get some nibbles. Occasionally you will get a visit from a friendly dog looking for food. But it’s so cute!

If you’re looking for a cool, chill night out with friends, there’s few containers bar over here and some delights foods to go with. An environment under the bridge, beside the river, outdoor, definitely is a place to chill. Starting from 8pm onwards and the later, the more crowd will appear till 2am

Beautiful place, the skyline during sunset is just amazing. Great place to take a walk or ride your bike, the place is bustling with people and vibes are generally great. Definitely recommended.

Great spot to go with friends on a night out in Taipei. Vibes are relaxed, music is good, plenty of seating, tons of shops to buy drinks and food from. Enjoy lovely skyline view of Taipei.

Love this place in the evening on weekends for music, drink and food. The pizza stand is great! Its owner Stan makes each pie with so much perfection and care.

Gongguan Waterpark Plaza is a delightful destination. The vibrant atmosphere, beautiful water features, and lush greenery create a relaxing and enjoyable environment. The plaza offers a variety of activities, including strolling paths and seating areas, making it a perfect spot to unwind and soak up the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Excellent spot to meet with a group of friends, with several little container bars to grab food (like poutine for the Canadians out there) and a drink. It's usually lively without being too crowded. Fully aware that made me come across as an old lady...

Most of restaurants don’t have minimum purchase for weekdays! Less people and chill. Definitely place to hangout with people.

It’s just behind the NTU neighborhood.
You can combine your visit there with destination such as tap water museum and the treasure hill. The view of waterside is good. Bike there if you like, the lanes is ok.

Popular place when there’s a market setup. Lots of interesting vendors selling handcrafts and trinkets.

This is a fun place to chill with friends. I've been many times. The local bars have some special foods, there are loads of chairs and tables and there's also a small nightclub there called pipe.

Similar to Rainbow Bridge but more more peaceful and right next to the water :) good for a stroll. My favorite river bridge in Taipei.

Nice place to rest after bike ride along the riverside. They do have live music sometimes on weekends. Scared of the dogs by 1 of the restaurant owner.

The plaza hosts an increasing number of nice little events, and they are in the process of expanding the selection of eateries and bars housed in shipping containers around the area.

There was beer and pretty girls. Also a public bathroom. It's basically the best place ever.
