Kaisyuan Night Market

One of the best Night markets in Kaohsiung and it’s not very crowded. Lots of great food to choose from and many activities for both adults and kids. Lots of cheap clothes shoes, purses and bags. I strongly recommend you try their laksa and fried ice cream along other things.

Strongly recommended !!!! Flea market just beside the night market. Suggest visit the flea market around 3pm and follow up by dinner in the night market. Do take note that the flea market operate on Sat and Sun only. For Sun, the flea market stalls may start their business as early as 8am. For dinner, do remember to visit the friendly lady boss and Ama managing drink and foods stalls. Their stalls are side by side.

Very good place to buy things including kids toys, electronics, bags, t-shirts etc at low cost. People especially are very good and gentle.

Many other trades besides food. Food - try the Mochi, seasoned fruit with Licorice & herbal teas. There are games, fashion, etc. Good mix of varieties. Worth to go.

New and a good variety of foods. Even larger area of different shops and games.

Local market in Kaoshuing, it offers a lot of choices of foods and they're also. It's located near MRT

Lots of available shops, lots of food, friendly people. Tappenyaki restaurant was great. The market will close early if it's raining. Low levels of English, bring a Taiwanese friend. There are tons of games.

Lots of food and games. Vendors selling clothes and wares. Be warned though, it can get very crowded. Prices are lower than most "tourist" night markets as it is more local.

A garage sale kind of Day market located at the same place w/ lots of tools and small 3C products to shop around. Great place to visit if you enjoy 2nd & garage sale.

Possibly the largest plant and flower market in town, together with a flea market that has lots of interesting things. A treasure hunt? Maybe.
