Maharaja Indian Restaurant

Super fast service, food is fantastic, setting is beautiful. My mom, dad and I got the three person set and everything was a hit, especially the “chef rogan Josh lamb” I think it was called. Mango pudding, nuts yoghurt, and honey yoghurt at the end were so good and though we were all painfully stuffed, some sweetness at the end was the perfect finishing touch. Thank you! 🙏

Definitely Tainan’s best Indian. I have a takeaway here at least twice a month. The lamb biryani, garlic nan bread and taka dal curry is my favorite. Coming from England, it’s pretty close to a decent curry back home.

We were immediately greeted with smiles and shown to our table. Our order was taken as soon as we were ready. The food arrived within 5 minutes, however, after eating for about ten minutes I had to remind our waitress about our drinks. She apologized and brought our drinks. The food was delicious. My husband and I ordered the chicken butter masala curry with rice and plan naan. The prices were reasonable and the establishment was nicely decorated and clean. Over all the service was good and the staff was welcoming and friendly. I would definitely eat here again.

Well, me and my fionce had dinner in this restaurant (10/03/2018) it was perfect, service staff was excellent, all the food was so tasty, compliments to the chef's and all the waiters. We'll be back for more and thats a promise, thank you very much. If you're visiting tainan and you love Indian food I highly recommend you this restaurant, serch on Google maps, I assure you you'll be satisfied with the food and not forgetting the survice. Taj Mahal is a regular favorite for my wife and I. They have a great selection to choose from and the curries are always fresh. The desserts are delicious as is the masala tea (flavourful and not too sweet). We visit Taj Mahal every time we're in Tainan.

If you like Indian food ,then this may be end of your journey in Taiwan, best Indian restaurant in country, I would suggest that to try Indian beer named kingfisher, its similar to Taiwan beer, and if I talk about my personal favorite is butter chicken and chess nan, (which is much batter then Indian restaurant in India) very friendly staff who can understand Mandarin, English, Hindi, Punjabi language, and best part you can enjoy Bollywood songs there

Nice and smooth taste. Not much spicy. Well served and having traditional look as per its name as Maharaja (King).
