Du Li Beef Noodle Restaurant

I really do not wish to share this hidden gem. Absolutely the BEST beef noodles we tried in Taipei! The soup broth leans towards the lighter side, very flavorful and there’s no MSG-thirst after the meal! The noodles are cooked al dente, and the beef tendon is so soft, almost melting in the mouth. The beef are nicely sliced, not too thin or too chunky. From the first slurp to the last, the bowl didn’t disappoint. Omg, I’m craving for this bowl again while I’m writing this review.

I’m not a fan of wantons in chilli oil but I couldn’t stop after the first wanton. The wantons are so plump and simply explodes in your mouth at each bite. Not too spicy, very delicious!

Amazing restaurant staff in the shop. I’m wondering if the friendly cook who pours his heart into each bowl of beef noodle is the owner. Order and pay at the cashier. Menu is in Chinese, I’d like to thank the kind lady for her patience when I attempted my best to read from the menu 🙏

This restaurant will be my first stop for my beef noodle fix the next time I visit Taipei.

The beef noodle was great! The soup was very clear and tasted very different than other places, but in good way. The environment was very good too, as well as customer service.

We visited Du Li after reading the great reviews and it has met our high expectations! It is very conveniently located (5 min walk from Taipei Garden Hotel and Ximending), interior is modern and very clean. The beef noodles was excellent! Meat was succulent without too much fat, broth was rich without being greasy and noodles were fresh and springy. It was sheer delight to the palate. Highly recommended!

First time having beef noodles in Taiwan or anywhere so I can’t really compare it. However it was really good. Broth was juicy and flavorful. The meat tender. Noodles were solid. I guess the owner or whoever is running the place was super friendly with fast n great service.

This place has excellent beef noodle soup. I had beef noodle soup with half beef and half tendon. The beef and tendon were well seasoned, the broth was tastey and the noodles had great texture.

The service was also wonderful and friendly.

The price is a bit high for typical beef noodles in the area, but the restaurant is nicely renovated and the amount of noodles they give is filling.

The place was clean.

You ever take a bite of food so good, it makes you a little dizzy? Me either, until tonight. My God in heaven. Spouse and I got the rib finger, marbled beef, and shank soup, with wonton in chili oil. So unbelievably delicious. What a little gem, and everybody was so nice!

This was our first real restaurant we visited during our stay. Since there is a twelve hour time difference, we first ate at Family Mart and at "Seven", which is good but this noodle soup is fantastic.

I can't read Chinese but I got the first item on the menu. I think it cost 420NT. The menu options are limited but that's a good sign. To me, this means whatever I order still be the best stuff they have to offer.

What did they offer? Delicious rich and savory beef soup, thick slices of yummy beef, melt in your mouth tendon, and a generous amount of spring onion.

And that noodle? It may look like your usual egg noodle or your boring lo mein noodle, but looks are deceptive! The noodles are probably hand made as the were qq af!

Last things: even though the hot sauce oil says it's very spicy, you can probably handle it if you like Tabasco sauce. I'd say it's sightly spicier than that. Also I got the cold cucumber, it was fresh and wonderfully garlicky, and the marinated tofu skin was also delicious.

If you like beef noodle then definitely visit here at least once, I don't think you'll regret it. I was mostly taking care of my kids so I didn't speak to the owner much but the service was also quite good. I give full stars across the board!

Highly recommended beef noodle shop. I ordered 雪花牛肉麵 with additional 米血糕(pig's blood cake) and 溏心蛋(coddled egg). The noodle is not too soft, the meat is very tender, the soup tastes original, very delicious. Clean environment, good service, reasonable price.

It is located near Carrefour (桂林店), between 西門站 and 小南門站, very convenient.

Taste is delicious. Ordered half loin and half tendons and they're soft & chewy. Portion is quite a lot for Indonesian like me but quite common for Taiwanese, Korean and Japanese. Order their side dishes, they're delicious too. Overall, value for money in terms of taste & portion.

My favorite beef noodle restaurant in Taipei. I always enjoy the dry beef noodle, but the traditional beef noodle soup is also nice with some smashed cucumber and a soft-boiled egg on the side. Definitely recommended.

Discovered this small beef noodle place a week ago when I really fancied some comfort food after work. Like the indie vibes inside the place, and the beef noodle soup is nicely cooked with tender beef and the broth isn’t too salty nor greasy comparing to the other beef noodle places. You can fully enjoy it while not feeling guilty.

This is the best beef noodles I had in Ximending.I ordered雪花牛肉麵 . Not only the soup has a great taste with a delicious butter like smell,the soup pairs perfectly with the tender beef and the bouncy noodle.
And the decorations in the shop shows a modern atmosphere combined with traditional Chinese New year festival element. The style stand out compared to the other beef noodle shops.
