The staff was so kind! The owner and his employees were so caring and made sure we had a great experience. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms clean. Lots of amenities (toothbrushes, floss, etc). Great parking situation. Cute cats on the property, washer & dryer, and beautiful plants, great breakfast (as an American) but small, not a lot of options (toast, eggs, fruit, vegetable). Pretty close to the park! Definitely worth the stay - just bring ear plugs in case you’re in one of the highway facing rooms!

Perfect location just outside Taroko Gorge, wonderful host and super fresh and tasty breakfasts with lots of veggies. We booked the room with private hot tub and it was really nice to take a dip inside after a long day of walking in the gorge. The hosts were so kind and friendly. Definitely recommend!

The owner is passionate and super caring about all guests. The breakfast does not have many options but is sufficient. Rooms are comfortable and AC works great. Only complaint was from the two furthest south rooms you can hear traffic at night. If you have ear plugs, you’ll be fine!

This well cared for space was a great jumping off point to Taroko Gorge. The owner was very helpful in providing information, getting taxis lined up, and calling around to find open restaurants during an off period. We also enjoyed using the bikes to get around town. Between the tasty breakfasts, excellent hospitality, lovely views, and nice rooms, this place was definitely a good value.

The room was extremely clean. Our room was equipped with a tv, mini fridge, kettle, dehumidifier. We were greeted right away upon arrival, which felt very welcoming. The owner came to say hi to us in the morning while we had breakfast. Overall, a great stay at a good value. Would highly recommend for the clean room, hospitality, and the location proximity to the park!

Absolutely lovely hosts and B&B. Kind. Friendly. Clean. Helped to arrange English guide and driver for 1 day tour of Taroko (9-5).

Simple, but delicious breakfast served 7-9am. No lunch or dinner available.

It’s a bit out of the way, but if you have a slow trip (and no transport), that’s ok.
Walkable down a quiet street to Taroko park HQ (maybe 45 min).

Incredible, paradise-like place at the entrance of the Taroko National Park. I will never forget this place and only wish I could have stayed longer.

Had a wonderful stay here. Teyra is kind and knowledgeable. The room was spacious and beautifully designed; the atmosphere of the whole place was calm. And there’s bike to borrow for free, for a short ride up to the start of the amazing Taroko National Park.

Feel so at home but would wish that there is a change in the menu for breakfast as it is the same food for the 2 days that we stayed. Anyway, I like the home cooked breakfast though.

Our host Taylor was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. He gave us a brief historical overview and pointed out some good eating places before introducing is to our beautifully appointed room. The room was spotless, we like the no smoking policy as this meant there were no musty smells. Clean, modern, brilliantly located and very quiet. I'd have no problem recommending this place to others.

We spent 2 night here, and we loved it. The B&B is 5 minutes car drive from the park HQ and it's a great place to start your Taroko trip.
The rooms are great, big and comftorable. The bad is great, big shower and all is just great.
The breakfast is simple, with rice porridge, egg and toast, but it's filling and good.
The staff and thr owner are nice and helpful.

Highly recommended.

We stayed in the family suite with an outdoor area and hot tub and it was amazing. The place is clean and well maintained with complimentary fruit. Breakfast was lovely traditional Taiwanese porridge and condiments. Teyra the B&B owner is warm and hospitable. The location is perfect - very near the taroko trail area and at the intersection of the roads towards the city. We love the place and would definitely come back!

Lovely place to stay! We’ve been to Hualien 3 times in the past 12 years and have stayed here every time. The place is really cozy and the owner is a Taroko local who is super friendly and kind. Hualien is our favorite place to visit in Taiwan and we can’t wait to come back! Forgot to take pictures of the accommodation, but this is 曼波海灘 just 5 mins away by car!

Started out with a brief and interesting overview of the owners Aboriginal tribe, the Taroko. He was very kind and introduced us to everything in the room, and personally checked to make sure everything like the bathroom, tv, beds, lights, etc. were clean and working as they were supposed to. They have a bunch of tv channels and free movies but we didn't use any of that during our stay. The beds we're nice, and the rooms were surprisingly quiet for being right off the highway. The bathroom is nice although the shower is a bit weird as it takes forever how to figure out how to use, and the soap and shampoo come in little bags. Breakfast was one of the best out of the B&Bs I've stayed at in Taiwan. Although minimal selection, the food was made fresh and served to us (see picture below). Overall the stay was awesome and I highly recommend a night or two here to anyone who is looking to travel through the gourge.
