The best eslite shop ever in Taiwan. Most good English books are open, unlike everywhere in Taiwan. And the assistants are very helpful and polite. You can ask any English book to remove its cover and the assistants are happy to do with no hesitation. And there is a spacious reading place too. You can take any book and read there, without any assistant's prying eyes.

There's a lot of food you can choose to eat ..

Nice bookshop with a ton of books in English as well as some in other languages. Other than buying online, this is a good opportunity to pick up one languages book for yourself. The biggest advantage compared to shipping online is that you can take a closer look at the book that you're about to buy.

One of the best places to pick up English books in Taichung. They have an especially good selection of Chinese study material for English-speaking students. Plus, it's next to a park with tons of restaurants and cafes nearby... Buy a book, a coffee or beer, and go sit out on the grass or a bench to enjoy them.

One of my favorite spots to hit up in Taichung, whether it’s night or day. The Eslite lifestyle store on the 2nd floor carries a lot stationary goods from Japan. Recently renovated, the 3rd floor has a portion “select shop” that sells snacks, craft beer, and some home goods, while the majority of the floor is dedicated to books. Definitely a hangout place for locals.

Always love coming to ES-Lite~ Even better when the Local Creator stalls are outside. With COVID concerns, the crowding is worrisome, but mask and temperature looked to be actively checked!

Lovely bookstore (chain). Browsed for an hour..enjoying Japanese beauty magazines and gift items. Lovely tea room--peeked in, it looks a bit formal. Great assistance provided by staff.

This is my favorite place to go in Taichung. The department store is lovely and their is a great park outside that always has vendors and performers.

Somehow the experience of shopping in every eslite store is different! I really enjoyed the ambiance of this location! And it's in a great area to chill in

It's really a nice place to read. Besides, you could get cool stationery here. I always come here to select special ink.
