This place is a ginormous open space of grandness and freedom. No walls, just greens and oversized structures.
Pigeons here fear no man. They hop up and down the stairs, some even come over to greet you, hoping you brought some bird seeds....

A landmark and tourist attraction to take photo. The place has a big square with several big buildings and surrounded by a park and there are several restaurant in the Concert Hall. Chun Sui Tang is also here to buy a great traditional milk tea.

Taipei metro stations have different designs.

Yes, each station has a story of a historical event that happens in the past or near a historical place, so this station represents some paintings in the walkway area.

Before you reached the train, you can be amazed by each painting on the wall. And especially an old man is playing the violin you feel more surprised while watching him playing.

But don't forget to give him some tips, his music is wonderful in fact.

The National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is a national monument, landmark and tourist attraction erected in memory of Chiang Kai-shek (former President of the Republic of China).
The hall is open from 9:00 to 18:00. The guard change happens 9 times in a day. The first change at 9am and the last at 5pm.
The ticket entrance is free.

It is located across the National Library. It’s a very huge place, there’s a change of guards every hour from 9- 5pm. Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall will close at 6 pm.

It’s amazing landmark and tourist attraction erected in memory of Chiang Kai-shek, former TAIWAN. The place surrounded by a park. It’s very nice to spend 1-2 hrs here or to start the days trip. There are Statue of Chiang Kai-shek in the main building. Very interesting for the lower level exhibition area

A spacious MRT station where you can transfer between red and green line, outside directly connected to Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall.

A big station for transit~ Its exit and entrance locates around the huge Memorial Hall, easy to access. Ever since the orange line changed its route, one must transfer here in this station to go to the main station from Guting station and behind.
The station has different decoration and a beautiful wall inside! It looks so grand underground!
