Xiangti Avenue Plaza

This is such a fun place during the holidays. Usually is decorated with the huge Christmas tree, and there's always a lot of photo ops. Street performers from singing to acrobatic show off their skills here. And brands set up their pop up stands there for marketing and market research. There's always lots to see and lots to do here, especially during the holiday.

Great place to go on the weekend to see street performers, musicians and sometimes new movie exhibits and other vendors. You are also in the center of the Taipei Xinyi shopping district with Mitsukoshi buildings full of luxury brands and fancy food courts. This is the place to hang out on the weekend or during the holiday shopping season. It's near Taipei 101 as well so if you are done here, you can just walk over to the Taipei 101 area for more shopping!

One of my favorite places in Xinyi District. The footbridge is the best part, connecting Metro City Hall to department stores, cinema, and Taipei 101. Commercial promotion events are held here every weekend.

So many shops in on the place including the NBA store. You could spend all day and not see everything.

I love the buildings and structure of the area, and you can often find street performers here and there.

There were some Christmas events taking place last time I went there. Beers in hand, my friend and I danced with groups of total strangers to the live band in front of the outdoor stage. Jolly all around!

There's a lot of options here.the prices vary within buildings and the store styles are different for every building. It is not very well organized as building maps are not very clear about its location and the stores within. The vibe is very nice for a stroll and there's things to buy for people of all ages. It is also very close to Taipei 101. There's also a subway nearby so transportation is very convenient here. Street performers often perform and special events are always happening.

Even though you can pass through this area without coming to the ground floor, it's still a fantastic place to be. Street performances, light shopping mood both make this an easy place. Like the atmosphere.

Great place to have short walk among different department stores and see the street show. Always have theme decoration during certain festivals with Chinese/ oriental style.

They are always keeping up the holidays as far as decorations go and have several fun photo stations. Great street performers as well.
