Songshan Ci Hui Temple

Sacred and amazing religious site

One of the beautiful temples in Taipei City. The main goddess Wang Mu Niang Niang or Empress Goddess (wife of the Jade Emperor) sits in the center of the main entrance hall with the Jade Emperor on the right side. This temple has spectacular view of half of the city of Taipei and one can see Taipei 101. Every year Ci Hui Temple holds many activities and many worshippers come to pray to Wang Mu Niang Niang. If you're near Taipei 101, it only takes less than 10 minutes by taxi to reach this temple. However, you have to hike down the hill (about 5 minutes) to reach the main road.

Arguably my favorite temple in Taipei. It is highly accessible, but it is nestled away in a neighborhood which makes finding it a bit of an adventure. It's within walking distance from the subway.

Boasts great views of Taipei, and the interior is gorgeous to look at. Everyone is super friendly and willing to help out if you don't understand which way to go.

I would say it's a perfect place to take parents or family that are not familiar with Eastern religions.

Still under renovation but still open to public. Take a nice morning stroll from Metro Houshanpi Station exit 2. You will pass their traditional market streets. Very interesting!

Feng Tian Temple: The name contains this character for 'temple' 宮 pronounced gong which indicates it is a Dao temple. Buddhist temples use 寺 pronounced si.

But regardless, it is easily the most amazing temple I've ever seen and they are currently building more. Virtually every surface is covered with 2 and 3 dimensional stone and wood carvings. Each bit is a work of art on its own and the total effect is overwhelming.

It's so amazing, I'm organizing a group event to show it to more people.

One of the stunning and gorgeous temples in Taiwan. It's famous, even Taiwan President would come here to pray for the country every year.

台北市主要宗教勝地之一的松山慈惠堂，建立在台北市的福壽山旁，旁邊的四獸山是台北市民平常登山的地方。慈惠堂主要是祭祀王母娘娘（又稱瑤池金母）。
廟宇建廟宇建的環境非常優雅，背有山靠、前方視野遼闊，整體氣勢雄偉青山環抱實是修身養性的好地方。廟內除主祀金母娘外，另有出巡母娘、祈求發財的五路財神爺、金榜題名的文昌帝君、出入平安的太歲星君以及慈悲為懷保護眾生護衛國土的四大天王，請記得參拜的順序不要弄錯了喔!
除了前述，當然還有地藏王殿及管區土地公爺爺。
慈惠堂已變更為宗教特定區，因區內有部分屬於違章建築，目前正積極拆除並重建，可能需要一段不短的時間，不過並不影響前往參拜。

慈悲的母娘，消災解厄，安定人心，還有好熱心的師姐、師兄們，母娘幫助很多人，很多名人也都會來此！
求平安健康，求財運，求婚姻，求考試，求流年順利.....
母娘及各神明都會護持！
信徒捐香油錢買米，買救護車，發揚孝道，幫助弱勢，真是名符其實的女神。
慈惠堂腹地廣大，環境清幽，可以鳥瞰台北盆地，視野遼闊，看到眼前的風景，忍不住細數一下認識的標的！
慈惠堂還有很舒適的香客大樓，可供香客選擇！
旁邊有虎山自然步道，很適合來這裡安靜心靈，強身休閒的好地方！

進到松山慈惠堂，你一定可以感受到一股，肅穆安詳的氣氛；也可以感染到 瑤池金母
母娘的慈悲、包容與護佑的大願力！
慈惠堂中主殿：瑤池金母、虛母地母、玉皇大帝；
右偏殿：文昌帝君、斗姥元君和七十二位值年太歲星君。
左偏殿：五路財神爺。
堂前有著雄壯威武的，四大天王護衞。
上慈惠堂階梯前，就有二座超大、超威猛的石獅守護著。

＂松山慈惠堂＂真的是一座位於風水寶地的
寺廟（堂）院，面對著松山地區的黎民百姓家；背後有出名的四獸（虎、豹、獅、象）山為靠。你很難想像，慈惠堂的前身是在一片荒蕪山區中的一間小小堂廟，一定是母娘慈悲，甚威顯赫，幫助不少人度過人生的難關和劫難，才會有今日的規模，以及香火鼎盛通達四大海、五大洲！值得一訪參香禮拜！
（有停車場可供停車、寺旁有間素食（蛋奶素）餐廳（松園景觀餐廳）在裡面用餐，可以免費停車4小時。
