I was really pleased with the service here. I had a very pleasant experience. I got a haircut and a hair wash. The place is vibrant and I was even given a few tips on improving my hair routine. Also free drinks from the fridge while in the waiting room. Totally recommend!!

First time cutting my hair at mr.maestro and I am definitely very satisfied. My hairdresser was Austin and he took care of my hair with a very detailed eye. I wanted to do a perm and it turned out very great and he also told me how to take care of it and which products I should use in order to maintain and style my perm.

Sitting with Morgan is like having a therapy, really relaxing and therapeutic. Looking at his finger touching your hair is like an art and you can easily tell his passion and dedication to it. A really nice 30 minutes or so spent, if I can I will come back when I come to visit Taiwan again.

Excellent barbershop with sort of a West village / Portland feel to it. It’s a coffee shop, hairdresser, barbershop and vintage clothing store. The barbershop is basically in a man cave down below. Kim was the guy who cut my hair and he was excellent. Took his time to see what style I needed and recreated it perfectly. Anyway, this is my new go-to barbershop.

My search for the perfect barber ends here. This is a hair salon exclusively for gents and they are artists not mere barbers. The place has a welcoming vibe like walking into a chill out lounge for men. I was attended to by Morgan who was keen to know exactly what I wanted. It started with a shampoo and a light head massage followed by an hour of Morgan detailing my hair trying to get exactly what I asked for. With his broken English he kept asking questions to ensure he delivered what I wanted. I’m impressed with his dedication.
The next hour was spent on my beard again specifically a fade followed by using the blade to set the boundaries. It was very difficult to get other barbers in Taipei to use the blade to detail after the trim but Morgan understood my requirement. Intermittent hot and wet towels were refreshing.
The downside is the pricing which is quite expensive at 1200NT$ for a haircut and 300NT$ for a shave but rest assured you get what you want and gives you the look that makes you confident. Will definitely revisit ...that is until I’m broke :)
