茹絲葵經典牛排館 Ruth's Chris Steak House

The OG of steakhouses in Taiwan, excellent service, good wine list & superb tomahawk steak (I ordered medium but will go with medium rare next time). This would be the place to go for any special events. Oh according to my wife, their cheesecake is the best even better than Cheesecake Factory

One of my favorite steak restaurant in Taipei. Love their dark wood style decoration. Great ambiance and service. Filet steak (medium rare) was tender and delicious. The portion of the salad and sides were generous. Wild mushrooms were pretty awesome! Two people can share one set. Attentive and comfortable service.

Nice place for birthday celebration. They can also develop the photo immediately. No doubt we had a wonderful and impressive dinner.

Preparation of the steak was perfect, soft and juicy. Bit expensive and got a price shock compare to USA (you may get more with the same cost in USA; but you have to keep in mind that they are serving US prime in Taipei).

Ambience is more or less same in a good USA steak house :)
Enjoyed the food; will come back again.

My favorite steakhouse!

During lockdown the quality of takeaway was still on point with food packaged carefully. We got our steak slightly more rare so that we could heat it on the grill when we got it home. Also they gave us a free dessert of our choice!

Have been coming here with my family since they opened in Taiwan. Really good service and superb steaks.
I like that they keep the steak plates warm for you throughout the meal. Not many steak houses (that I go to) do that. I also like their sides, especially the roasted tomatoes.
The crabtini has a nice ring to it, but personally I think the presentation needs more work.

Steaks are so good there, IMO portions are huge. They always have this beautiful set menu to let you try everything. Waitress are so attentive and nice. Overall had very very good experience.

Expensive but worth it!
My Rib Eye steak was really soft and tender, even though quite fatty, the fat just melted away.
Good portion size for the side dishes such as soup and bread.
Dark wooden environment, gives a little bit vibes like on the Titanic:)

Order a set of 10oz Ribeye and 8oz Filet. The steak portion is good for 2! Excellent service!

Definitely one of my favorites steakhouse in Taipei. I've been visiting them time by time since 20 something years ago. Loved their steak and services.

No doubt that’s one of my favourite restaurant in Taipei!!! Love their filet Steak, especially crab cake and dessert! I appreciated that their service.

Great service and great food. Surprised my wife with a yummy cheese cake for her birthday. Especially liked how they cooked the beef - the seasoning was superb and temp was on point.

I had a wonderful dinner here. Shared a 16 oz ribeye which was just the nice amount of meat for both of us. The starters were surprisingly good especially the crab cakes. The BBQ shrimp was ok - it was the sauce that made it special. The sides was large enough to be shared for 2. The Au Gratin potatoes was very rich with the potatoes al dente and a nice cheddar sauce to go with it.

For drinks we had a glass of Cabernet and a pint of craft beer. For dessert the signature cheese cake was huge even for 2.

No complaints with the service.

Overall a really good dinner for NT$6 grand.

Have been to quite a few Ruth's locations in the U.S. , and always enjoyed their many appetizers, steak and side dishes. Here in TPE, we come here to enjoy authentic American steak, large and buttery! My favorites are actually their onion soup and mashed potatoes!

Tuna is so good to try!

Tranquil and comfortable atmosphere, services are good. A little bit expensive, but steak and wine are the best in Taipei

The service is great. Price is not so expensive compared to the quality of food and service you can get. Wine is a bit pricy though. Overall, worth to visit if you are in town .

Absolutely hands down what you pay for, food is out of this world perfectly cooked and seasoned, the service is non stop like having a personal server they are there every second you need them you don't have to ask for much or look far for them, and the atmosphere romantic and Suttle!
