Taiwan famous millet mochi. Halal certified. Many varieties. They have a retro area at level 2 for photo taking.

Good thing we made a reservation beforehand, we were able to get a guided tour. The old timey "museum" is kind of fun for people to take photos. It's like the 1930s-1950s? The souvenir shop didn't have anything we wanted to buy since we did not like mochi. But there were plenty of sample food. Very cute place to visit. Would recommend.

A good place to visit to get to know about Hualien history. There is a presenter who explain about Hualien history. But Chinese speaker. So for international travelers it will be difficult. But can manage by themselves.

samples. They are friendly but not hard-selling. They also offer packing our purchase in a box. Nice experience to shop for bring home goodies.

It's a very beautiful and fun place demonstrating the old Hualien. Worth a visit:)
