Fuhong Beef Noodles

Cheap 24 hour no frills spot for beef noodles. Portion sizes were generous and English menu! Safe to say i ate here more than 7 times the week i spent in Taipei.

They provide pickled radishes garlic, and other oils as well on the table. Amazing place!

I came here early at 10am for some breakfast and it was crowded. But there was some room and I shared a table with others. After you sit, they take your order. There are 3 different sizes for the beef noodle soup. Large is NT$120. They will bring it straight to you after you order and you pay before you eat.

The broth is delicious but the noodles were thicker than I preferred. Also meat could be better but overall a delicious meal and great value. There are tons of add-ons you could put in. I recommend lots of the pickled mustard greens and the orange chili. It's not very spicy but adds a lot of flavoring!

Phenomenal noodles! I was in Taipei for 5 days and I came here 4 times… The broth, noodles, and meat are all simply perfect. Be sure to specify for the wide noodles!

There’s a number of condiments on the table, two types of chili spice, pickled cabbage, and more… (Best I can describe this as a Westerner)

It is a very local and under the radar place, but don’t be afraid to walk right in! I can’t believe it’s open 24 hours and maintains such consistent and delicious quality. This quickly became one of my favorite noodle soups and I will 100% return when I’m in Taipei next. In the meantime I recommend it to anyone I know!

Aside from the localized service (where time is of essence) during peak hours, highly recommend the food here.

One of the best beef noodles in the Ximen area at a great price / value. Highly recommend to order their century egg side dish as well.

The only downside, perhaps personal preference… not keen with the thick noodle 😉

I realise on the way out, they do have thinner type of noodle 🤦🏻‍♂ perhaps next time 😅

Very authentic Taiwanese beef noodle, the soup is very rich with flavour but not heavy at all. We ordered the thick noodles and it was cooked to al dente. There were also several condiments on the table so you can add them to your soup to change up the flavour. Not very tourist friendly especially if you don’t speak Mandarin since they don’t have any English menus available.

Delicious beef noodles with rich broth. The side dishes like the century egg tofu were very yummy too! There is a bowl of beef fat/butter on the table for you to help yourself to. It is slightly spicy and goes excellent with the soup. We also really enjoyed the dumplings. The filling is generous and tasty.

Their trademark thick noodle is very chewy. I might opt for a thinner option the next time I go there. But it’s worth a try if it’s your first time there!

Business is very busy at dinner time, so do be prepared for service to be a little rough/brisk since the staff are very busy keeping up with the orders. English menu is available!

Beef noodle also nice even small size but huge for me. You can add spicy and veggies. Besides, free water, coke, apple, sprite

Toilet also clean. They prepare more toilet paper inside

However staff was superb. Understood english and make everything clear.

As I am writing this review, I am literally crying with the knowledge that I am leaving Taiwan today and cannot eat here again. This is the first time in my life that I have been brought to tears over food, and if I could rate this one or two Michelin stars it would be fully deserved. The simplicity of the ingredients, the complexity of the flavors, the ambiance of the tv in the corner and shouting from the kitchen, make this the ultimate food experience. The flavors are clear and plentiful, the noodles are perfectly textured, and the beef is supple and juicy. The butter that you can add melts with and adds to all the flavors and makes for a rich, and simple yet complex broth, which is playful but not too obsequious.

Do not miss this place if you are anywhere in Taiwan, it is worth every amount of effort to taste a bowl of heaven.

Beef is really soft. Soup doesn’t taste much without adding sauces imo. I was really surprised that some staff are Vietnamese and able to speak mandarin during night shift 😅

Delicious beef soup. Reasonable price with generous portion. I should have order small size, medium size was too big to finish. This is a local delicacy and loves by locals. I’m glad we came here.

Hands down the best bowl of beef noodles I've ever had in Taiwan! If you can see past the long queues, cramped / humid seating space, I promise you won't regret ordering that delicious bowl of goodness.

Absolute best beef noodle soup. Please do yourself a favor and add the paste from the tin bowls. The sesame noodles are also delicious 🤤

Small but focused menu. All delicious. There are sides you can order that are not on the menu - they're in the fridge by the entrance, just point and ask

i have tried Yong Kang but this one is another higher level . The beef broth is full of beef flavor . recommed you shoud eat toghether with fatty cow and pickle . they server toghether in the table 😘😘😘😘🇹🇼👍

酸菜，辣椒， 随意加。还可以免费加汤。My hubby and I shared a big bowl of beef noodles. Beef cubes were tender and lots too for the price of NTD120. The noodles were chewy! The service is fast. The pickle veggies, chilli paste were on the dining table so you can add as much as you like. We enjoyed the noodles and soup so much. A must try if you are around the area.

Very tasty beef noodles, broth is not too oily or salty. Big bowl is 120 NTD. Cash only and tables are shared. You sit down and order and pay when the good is brought to you. They also have dumpling soup, but we didn't try it.
