Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Taipei Station Store

This is one awesome high end store. Most of us go there for the food in the basement. The quality of the products there is second to none. A number of years back I went there for an insulated thermos. Whether you want an inexpensive gourmet lunch, a great dress or sport coat, or high end appliances this is thee place to go in Taipei.

Every time I go there it reminds me of the successful US department stores of old. If visiting Taipei this store is a must see for high quality "stuff" of all kinds. The prices are very fair.

It's a department store with all the international brands. If you like shopping, you can spend quite a fair bit of time there. Basement have many food options also.

One of Taiwan's major departmental store with various famous clothing and skincare brand. There's 7 floors of clothing for you to update your fashion inventory with Taiwanese fashion.

The basement also has some restaurants and food court for you to replenish your energy.

Food court has some great options. Shopping is all the name brands stuff, personally I don't care for it. But did I mention the food court?!

Huge high-end mall with Japanese ambiance.
The Currency Exchange at the basement has good rates.

A great place for foreigners to get your souvenirs back home, where you can use your easycard and even get a tax refund after. We got our Chia Te Pineapple Cakes and Sugar and Spice Nougats here!

Easy to find each product I was looking for by escalator. Clothes area was great but suggest some larger sizes for others not small or medium. I found a lovely purse I carry everyday. I will go back soon.

Great shopping center. The basement has a grocery mart that offers many little things. A step up from a Family Mart or 7-11. The lower level has numerous food stalls. The main & upper levels have shopping for clothes, jewelry, accessories, & makeup. It's located in a central area & the prices are decent.

First time to go here and I love the fact this place has a money changer down at the basement by the food court... Haven't got the chance to go around the place since we just need to change our money and go to the places we needed to go to since we were already late...

This place is nice for shopping and has almost everything....

There's a grocery store, gift shop area, and plenty of restaurants.

There's a lady very honest working in the shop at 6floors. I left something inside the toilet.she run and told me that i left something. Thanks to her my stuff are save here .

An old department store near to Taipei train station. With its height, the building is like a landmark here for direction. It is convenient for transportation since MRT exits is just in the front.
It is a busy place where people hustles and bustles every day, especially on weekend. The square in the front often becomes a place for campaign.
Diverse things are available here. The store is nice except that usually it is too crowded!

A long and high departmental store that had a good variety of brands. I like the variety of high end and mid high skin care and make up brands.as well as the good sports selections. The variety of golfing apparels and equipment is awesome. There's also a muji and apple shop in.one.of the levels.

Bought a bag here. Good quality and made in Taiwan. Service was good and given some discount.

You can find great local food at the basement food court. Cheap and tasty. Highly recommended.

Great location as it was literally a minute away from my hotel. I had dinner at the food court three nights out of my two week stay in Taipei. When it rained and ruined my plan for exploring the night markets, this is my go to place for good and reasonable priced Taiwanese and Japanese food.
