Very special and spacious display... impressive collections and most importantly informative 🙏🙏🙏

Wow! Just when you think you seen all temples and shrines possible, they take us here.
Must be seen.
Modern day marvel.

Very modern and has a lot of artifacts about Buddhism. Every room has an attendant and some of them can speak English (3rd and 2nd floor) and they were able to help us understand and appreciate history.

They have a 10 minute video presentation and I'm impressed. The display fills the whole white room.

Admission is $200 (twd) per person. But it's free if you're a senior citizen (65 and up) and I think discounted if you're a student.

We only saw the 1st - 3rd floor display within the building since we visited this after sun moon lake and reached here around 3pm. Museum closes at 5pm

Excellent museum.

It collects representaive buddha statues from early ages of India to the recent ages of China.
Most collections are in great condition, and you can get some understanding of budda statue building history with the tour guide provided by the museum self. Don’t miss it.

You won’t be able to see everything in just couple hours, be warned!

This is a very nice place to know the culture of Buddhism. A ticket can visit two place of the museum.

Worth a visit

解說員的學養豐富，專業知識加上深入淺出的導覽，讓我們認識珍貴的館藏寶物，令人獲益良多。

用了雙人套票$699，看了2博物館也吃了好吃的餐，推薦招牌麵(素xo醬拌麵)真的超好吃的，還用了2張禮品折價券買了2條十字金剛杵項鍊，一天的行程剛剛好。
想要細看博物館的朋友，建議早上9:30或10點開始看大博物館，約13:00再到雲華餐廳，用餐完後到1樓再逛木雕分館，可以保留約30至1小時，参觀中台的開放空間(因為太晚去所以沒時間去)。
其實這2個館真的很棒，能暫時忘卻煩惱，因為心都專注在每尊年代久遠的佛菩薩雕像。

來埔里旅遊回程，順道去中台禪寺，因早到（10點）才能進入，故先去隔壁中台世界博物館参觀，外觀非常宏偉，共三層展示古今中外，佛陀和觀世音，及一些羅漢修行者的雕像，有玉石、砂石、金、銅、鐵，還有一些古代帝王，妃嬪的入土碑文等。（館內禁止拍照）

難得看到的世界級博物館，可惜參觀的人很少。
大家如果要去日月潭玩記得，順道參觀，覺對值回票價。

中台木雕博物館，收藏了 從古時候到清朝的木雕佛像，可以看到因 中國各朝代文化不同， 佛像也不同。
佛 本身 沒有形象， 佛陀相好莊嚴， 佛像只是 佛弟子為了要傳佛法，借由 佛像，以相表法。
也因此，歷代的佛像，也都不盡相同。
藉由 觀賞 中台木雕博物館 歷代、不同國度的 佛像，
