Aye Taipei Bar & Restaurant

I've had this place saved for years and this was the first time I made it in. Lively and spacious bar with good seating and bar areas. The HH offerings and prices were good. I wasn't going to order food, but the food my friends ordered looked so damn good I was tempted to order my own. I got fries with cheese and gravy and it was OUTSTANDING!!! And I love how the staff kept clearing the table and not letting out dirties pile up. The trivia night was fun, but could have been shorter, so we left before it was over. I'll definitely be back some time in the future.

I had the fish and chips and it was perfect. Chef cooked chips(fries) nice and crispy. Had all the best condiments

Went two months ago. Wanted to order fish n chips but the server said they ran out so I had the steak pie instead. Had a sudden craving for a Sunday roast just now. Planned to go this Sunday, and saw a comment 3 days ago that they no longer serve Sunday roast. I’m making a request of the smiths please, please, please let me get what I want for this bar 🤣🤣 and I’ll keep going and trying to get what I want in my first attempt lol. Great food, atmosphere, and music by the way! 👍🏽👍🏽

It’s a very nice place for visiting friends or for family’s happy hours. The English and Scottish foods are quite good. The beef is favorable and the fish and chips is so great. Also the music inside the restaurant was played is nostalgic 80s style. Very nice. It’s a very good choice for people to have a good dinner time in city center.

One of the best pubs with pub and Scottish food. The portions are quite generous, there is happy hour abd it's not overcrowded but quite comfortable. Whenever I have s craving for bangers abd mash, I head down to Aye Taipei.

Brand new bar. Excellent home cooked food and very good daily specials Monday-Friday. Decent happy hour too. Worth a visit. Looks like a good place to watch sport. Friendly staff.

Absolutely delicious! Had the beef chunks with mash, puff pastry, and vegetables. Beef was super tender, mash was the perfect consistency, and the gravy was great combined with all elements. Staff were friendly, and music was good too. Will definitely return!

Tried Aye a few times while roaming in Zhongshan. I must say it's a widely underrated place. Food is really good often by more than the usual "pub" standards (also looks healthier), there is a fair share of beers and the prices are really honest, which is actually an invitation to eat and drink more. Music is good too if you like classic oldies. Service is always timely and polite and the place clean. My sole complaint is they don't make coffee but i forgive them for what for to an Italian is a capital sin. I genuinely like the place.

Good spot with good food options. They do a trivia from time to time which is usually pretty fun. Drinks are reasonably priced for Taipei. They have a few beer options on a happy hour special that is nice as well. And Guinness draught as well, which is super nice if you like Guinness! They play sporting events as well and have a dart board

They have regular quizzes. Chicken is good.

The Sunday roast, replete with Yorkshire pudding, is phenomenal value, and puts Aye Taipei on Taipei’s culinary map. Friendly service and a cozy ambience make this an easy place to relax, eat, and drink with friends or family. Recommended! 👍

Great food. Clean, modern and spacious. Inexpensive and excellent authentic home cooked British meals. Friendly, too. Everything is good.

A good place for foreign crowd. They have quiz nights sometimes with a prize of 10 drinks for the winning table. And old skool darts board can keep you occupied too.

The finger food is mostly fried, but main course is nice .

They have Guinness on tap, which is pretty great.

5-8pm is happy hour

The food and drinks are amazing, great service and very friendly staff. Genuine British food and great German inspired beers from buckskin on tap. Definitely come back!

Awesome pub with friendly owners and bartenders. Stopped in on a Sunday evening and had a few pints and spoke a couple hours with the friendly people there. Great neighborhood bar you don't want to miss! Jessica is an excellent entrepreneur and owner who is lovely to talk to. I'll be back when I make it to Taipei again.
