Aloft Taipei Zhongshan

I didn't get to look at much of the hotel, but I know they offered a free breakfast, even for guests of the guest which is great!

The rooms were neat and tidy, with a spectacular view and amazing atmosphere!

Oh and spacious and very well designed + modern.

The service at Aloft Taipei was the highlight of our stay. The front desk staff was very welcoming and the housekeeping was top notch. The room was so much larger than we anticipated and the shower was one of the best I've seen at a hotel. We found the location very convenient and walked to multiple shops, restaurants and night markets. The only downside we found was that the bar and rooftop pool were both closed. Having both of these amenities available would've made this hotel perfect.

Kind of expensive but you absolutely get what you pay for. Room and service were both amazing. Location is very central for a lot of Taipei activities, great for the bus, and still pretty good for the MRT.

This was a great place to stay all around. Breakfast had tons of options, clean, and very comfortable room for our trip. Location had great food markets and shops around and close to train stations.

My coworker and I were here on business and after finishing up early with our work we were lucky to have a day to sightsee.
Huge thank you to the front desk staff Howard, Tina, and Max who were stellar. They helped us throughout our stay and such a pleasant group. They helped book taxis, directions, recommend local great spots, go to the spa, and literally organized a full day of sightseeing in Taipei and area including booking an 8hr car and driver to take us to Yehliu Geopark, Shifen, Lanterns/waterfalls, Jiufen, and Taipei 101. Can’t say enough positives and will definitely be coming back here.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Aloft Taipei Zhongshan! The room was spotless and spacious, the bed was super comfy and the staff was friendly. The location is ideal, a very short walk from the orange line MRT station and a reasonable walk (less than 10 minutes) to the red line. There's a great little night market (all food) right behind the hotel, a Family Mart and self service laundry on the same block. Breakfast was included for us due to status but we only had it once. No fault of the hotel, we just wanted to go out for traditional Taiwanese breakfast. We'll be back next year!

Brilliant stay. The staff throughout the hotel were welcoming and helpful. Lovely breakfast each day to start with and close to MRT. Excellent laundry 24hr just behind hotel. Highly recommended

Arrived here in the early morning for the start of our vacation and we were assisted by Max at the counter. Max was incredibly welcoming and accommodating for the duration of the stay. We felt that she perfectly demonstrates the best of Taiwan tourism we have consistently experienced so far.

Room was good, nothing to complain about. No missing amenities and there are bidets in the room.

For Bonvoy members, Aloft is in the list of properties that do not provide upgrades. I don't like it but I went in knowing this fact and was completely fine with it.

Excellent location between 2 train lines. Nice rooms, super comfy bed and pillows, generous with mineral water, great service overall and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Great location and inexpensive. Also part of Marriott Bonvoy if you're collecting nights for membership. The top floor breakfast staffs are always friendly and is inexpensive for a great breakfast to start the day.

The staff were incredibly friendly. Whenever we would call they would answer immediately (pretty rare in the US honestly) and gladly help us out. The room was spectacular with great AC. Would stay here again when coming to Taipei.

One downside was the TV in the room seems could not connect to youtube, netlfix, or else, just a regular TV with some channels

5 mins walk to Zhongshan Elementary School station with many good food around the area. Hotel is clean and comfy. Will stay again.

The staff were always friendly and attentive to our needs, and the rooms were well maintained.

I loved everything, especially the room: spacious, immaculate, modern, huge shower separate from wc. The location is subjective but plenty of small places to eat nearby, MTR station, Family Mart etc. Fast check in, good English spoken. The pool was closed when I wanted to have a look at it, not sure if it’s a temporary thing. Excellent price/quality ration, very recommendable.

I loved how the toilet and bathroom are separated - both can coordinate their routines. The only complaint would be the size of the room is tight. The bed is comfortable with a cute little bolster for those who need to hug something to sleep. The work desk is large - excellent for people who need to do some office work quickly. One detail I like is that they have a lot of power sockets available around the room to allow you to have access to power. USB ports are also open near the table to enable you more charging capability.

I was incredibly happy with my stay here. The rooms are on par with the W and le Meridien. I would definitely stay here again

I chose the property because Marriott properties rarely let me down. Be sure to take advantage of the included breakfast option. The views from the 17th floor restaurant and Bar are beautiful. The food is delicious and the service is great.

- [ ] Balcony - super small balcony, fit 1 person. However this is a corner unit so there’s 3 big windows overlooking to the city, so not too bad
- [ ] Bedroom - spacious, king size bed, with TV and closet. Aircond is strong, just right and no sweat 👍🏻
- [ ] TV channels - OK, mostly Taiwanese stations
- [ ] Mini bar - none. Just standard coffee and tea packs
- [ ] Friendly hotel staff - can ask recommendations for food nearby
- [ ] Housekeeping - great, almost everything refilled accordingly
- [ ] Wardrobe and luggage space - wardrobe sufficient size, dedicated luggage spot while no overall room size is large enough to place luggages on the floor, so not at issue 👍🏻
- [ ] Bathroom - very big, separate toilet from bathroom 👍🏻. Dressing area can be separated from bedroom via sliding wooden door. Dressing area’s lighting not bright enough
- [ ] WiFi connection and strength is great - direct login & auto relogin wo pw 👍🏻
- [ ] Breakfast - NOT included but there are cafe / local breakfast spots nearby, walking distance. For dinner, night market just steps away behind hotel
