Brother Hotel

The staff try really hard to do right by the customers. It is a hotel for mostly an Asian audience, but as an Americanp I still felt well treated even if there were some small language challenges like misunderstandings at checkout and no subtitles on TV in english. The location is one of the best food spots for vegetarian/pescatarian cuisine, in my opinion. Transport to and from hotel is especially easy by public transport. Stayed for over two weeks. Would stay again.

Check in was fast. Location is great. Free drinks in the room. Bed was quite comfortable.

The service of the room was outstanding and the room was actually quite nice. Although the breakfast was not so good this hotel still deserve 5 stars because of the service perfection.

I LOVE the rooms…literally I am in love with the room…the alleyways while going through it makes you hypnotic..Receptionist…i tried Chinese but her English is equally good….location …everybody knew its just beside MRT…literally next door..u will not lost your way…bus station..taxi stop …just look out…i have been Taiwan for more than 5years…always passed by…lobby is massive with people…but when u take the elevator up….everything changes and you got to try and stay here…Lai lai

Staying at the Brother Hotel made my time in Taipei amazing. The staff is very friendly and super helpful. Can't wait to visit again soon.

Old but gold. Guests are mostly businessmen with suits. Strategic place, near to offices, food and starbucks. Easy access from the MRT exit 6

All panels in the room function well & for food lovers, there are 7 restaurants inside the hotel. Woaaa..

Really a great value for a super solid hotel.

I am a regular to this hotel. Clean, comfortable and very generous room size (for Taipei). Price is also extremely reasonable and dinning is true Taiwanese flavour. Location is also super convenient. Two MRT lines at the door step!

Don’t be put off by elderly staff at the door, most employees have worked their all their life! Speaking to them, they said the owner is very kind and generous. Thus, people are happy to stay and one manager I met has worked there for over 30 years!

The highlight is full Japanese bathroom and newly renovated interior. It’s an old hotel and old brand (they have one of the top baseball team in Taiwan), but they are still good as gold!

Stayed here for one week. Excellent breakfast foods (mix of Eastern & Western) and location around MRT substation. Highly recommended!!!

They served the community well especially during the past few years helping Taiwan citizens to be able to have masks starting in 2020.

Always impressed by the food here. Very traditional Taiwanese food and clean environment.

Don't come in at lunch and dinner rush hour, you will have to wait for a while to be seated. There are few restaurants in the hotel. Dim Sum is good but not as good as it should be.

Excellent service and location right next to a subway station. Rooms are spacious and newly renovated. We had a perfect stay there. Highly highly recommend 👍👍👍👍👍

Food is good, service is excellent. My favorite dish were the haukow and shumai.
But the oolong tea was ok

The hotel is located in the middle of the business zone in Taipei, very safe at any time, so it is a perfect place to stay on business trips. It is very clean, rooms are spacious enough. Internet connection is free of charge and fast. The check in process was very quick and friendly.

Although the hotel is very old, the room and corridor around are all newly modern renovated. Very impressive! Reasonable price, best location in Taipei, modem and clean room. Recommended!

Very friendly and courteous staff. Rooms are very clean and they do an excellent job with daily cleaning. They replenish free water and soda daily as well. Right next to subway station makes this a great place to stay for tourists.

Very clean room. Convenient location. Newspaper sent to hotel every morning. Very meticulous about little details.
Receptionist and staff are very courteous and helpful! They'll ask where you're going and tell the cab uncle for you. If the cab doesn't know the place, they'd rather you get another cab.

Dinner at the HongKong style restaurant on the 2nd floor on a Saturday night. We were limited to 2 hours so that gives you an idea of how good business is. Cost per person is about NT$1,000 if you order just enough but be prepared for NT$1,200-$1,500 each as there's just so many choices that you would want to try another dish, then another, and another ... Great for family dinners or hosting guests.
