大佳河滨公園 is one of our all-time, all-season favourite park for a perfect day out with our young kids. There are so many things to do here for the family in this wonderfully designed huge park - cycling, skating, digging in the huge sandpit, playing in the children playground, running after butterflies, etc.

However there are some areas that can be improved to make the park even cleaner & safer.

1. Lack of garbage bins, resulting in visitors, especially picnickers dumping their rubbish into the public toilets.

2. Dogs walking unleashed & treating the whole park as their toilet, depositing dog poos in the field, along the pavement & in many corners! This is totally unhygienic, repulsive & irresponsible behaviour.

3. Unauthorised vehicles sneaking into the park & even parking on bicycles & walking lanes. Please see photo on 9 April 2023 at 4pm with a long line of vehicles parked within the park, scaring many young unsuspecting cyclists and other users.

If the relevant authorities can look into how they can solve the above problems, the experience for park users will be so much more pleasant, cleaner & safer.

Came here to watch the dragonboat racing during the dragonboat festival. Would definitely recommend to anyone lucky enough to be in Taipei during the festival.

"Dajia Riverside Park" is located on the left bank of the Keelung River.

There is a magnificent straight bridge connecting the park and the Meidi Riverside on the diagonally opposite bank. Dajia Park has elegant scenery and a wide view. There are vast grasslands and large fountains in the park. There are also sports facilities such as courts.

No matter whether it is morning or evening, many people can be seen walking on the river embankment trail, or walking or running, and There are several kilometers of bicycle path around the district, where you can enjoy the beautiful embankment scenery by cycling leisurely. From different angles, you can see the opposite Grand Hotel or the Miramar Ferris wheel in the distance.

The Riverside Park is not only a recreational attraction, It is also the best place for citizens to enjoy leisure life.

Huge park, excellent playground for kids to spend the whole day. There are two parts of swings which would separate the people, cutting short the waiting time, the slides are great too. Especially the sandpits 🤩 remember to bring some sand toys and enjoy!!!! Besides the playground, biking and walking 🚶‍♀ are all good choices.

A place to relax, to let the kids play, picnic with family. A suitable place for light sport activities such as walking and running. There is a large parking lot, as well as for people with disabilities is also very facilitated, there are also portable toilets.

A great place to play with water n sand. There r a few food stalls selling snack, sausage, fried chicken, n drink. Toilets and wash up areas all very convenient. The fountain n sprinkle start at 1000, 1100 and from 1500, runs for 40mins each time.

Great part just next to the river, huge grassland, wide bikeways, suitable for picnic and outdoor activities.
Venue for dragon boat race in every May or June.

Awesome place for a bike ride. You can bring your own food and stop and rest along the river while you bike to Raohe nightmarket. They usually have a lot of events, dragonboat competitions, and concerts here.

A great water park. I saw activities where dragon boat races can be held in the water. The Rotary Club activities of 2023 were very interesting.

Chill and wide with nice scenery. Great riverside and bridges for jogging and walking. There is also a roller-coaster area. Good location connecting ZhongShan and ShiLin districts.

I think this here will be one of the most often place you’ll end up coming while living in Taipei. Lots of events going on such as music festival, marathons, dragon boat, etc. But also a great place to bike around with families or build a tent to relax.

This riverside park reaches Danshui and even Keelung Port. This is one of the best things about Taipei. So close and yet so open that you really feel like you’ve left the city. Lie on fields of grass that look like windows xp wallpaper. Bike/walk trails are clean and safe. Lighting is great at night. Find spots on the river trail that rent bicycles or get a ubike and ride there.
