This is really technically climb up
Suggest only fit trekkers lots of iron chian hold and climb
Same way go and back so put your big bag and Trekking stick bottom so easy to hike up and down

玉山東峰為台灣百岳十峻之首，好天氣時藉由鍊子攀登其上並不難，但若下雨甚至下雪，就比較危險了。

從主峰到東峰的路上需要先下切到鞍部，然後就一路往上攀爬。
看網路上說將近200公尺，摸黑上山需要注意安全。
路上跟攀爬時的側風非常大，會把人吹走的那種，一定要站穩跟抓穩，不要讓自己沒有固定點。
東峰的日出跟景緻非常的美，不過天氣不好的話就不建議一定要登頂了。
體力跟天氣允許的話，非常值得走一趟。

十峻之首！個人覺得天氣好時，攀登東峰不難，難的是從東峰的山腳，要再爬回主峰比較難...攀爬時建議三點不動一點動，小心謹慎才安全，最好一早就來爬，中午過後容易天氣有變...

值得一來，但有懼高或不善手腳並用的不建議，雖有穩固的鐵鍊已經相對安全了，有經驗一點的尤佳
