Wife wanted to try some mediterranean food so we picked out this highly rated place in Taipei. This cozy place doesn't seat many but it feels nice and welcome for the cold winter night. We ordered the combo meal included many signature dishes to try. Overall the food was light and refreshing, with just a hint of cumin, and they were all delicious. We enjoyed it very much!

One of the best Mediterranean food I ever had. The owner is the main chef, and will welcome you personally. As a Moroccan, he cooks perfectly all the Mediterranean and middle eastern inspired dishes. Great atmosphere, perfect spot for dinner alone or with friend. Service is attentive but it remains a really easy-going vibe experience. Nothing fancy. Just great food, great team in a very nice place. Absolutely recommended for anyone in Taipei

This was the best Mediterranean cuisine I've had in my life. After interacting with the chef & owner, I realized why: he has preserved his grandmother's recipes from Morocco. The food was remarkably fresh, incredibly seasoned, and the ambiance was the icing on the cake. I'm hoping to visit again soon.

My friends and I had a great time at this Middle Eastern restaurant in Taipei. The falafels, hummus, salads, shakshuka, and cinnamon couscous dessert were all delicious and left me feeling full and satisfied. The chef was incredibly friendly and hospitable, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

I never would have expected to find some of the best Mediterranean food of my life in an Asian country, but V&O shattered my expectations. Absolutely exquisite dishes whose freshness you can taste in the explosion of flavor, including muhammara, roasted eggplant, falafel, hummus, and a unique cinnamon couscous dessert that cannot be missed! All dishes were inspired by recipes from the owner's grandmother whose love you can taste in every bite. The light, healthy cuisine was a healthy relief from the greasy fare of the night market street food. Equally as enjoyable as the food is the welcoming staff whose hospitality will make you never want to leave. The owner was such a delight to talk with that our discussion continued way past close into the wee morning hours! This is the warm neighborhood cafe serving authentic cuisine by authentic people to friends and strangers alike, a real gem of Tapei's multicultural community.

A decent, cute place for a good meal. We got humus, pita, Falafel, kebab, and stuff. Everything was delicious 😋 but the portion was pretty much for two, so for a big group I would suggest to order accordingly.
I liked the vibe here, peaceful mind with perfect meal.

Excellent food, every single dish is delicious and made with love and care. Ohana brings all of his different roots and influences to our plates. It is a mix of levantine, maghreban and other cuisines. He genuinely wants us to learn and appreciate about the dishes but also some of the background behind it. He makes sure we choose the right dishes and the right amount for our table. It is all made fresh, so you might have to wait a bit for each dish, but they come staggered. And since each dish is delicious, it is not a problem at all. Just be aware that the meze platters might not be served as a single unit all at once. But every time Ohana came to our table to bring another dish, he treated us like friends visiting his home. By the end of the evening, our bellies were full and we had made a new friend.

Just wow. Everything about this place is right. Great music, nice drinks, friendly owner and staff and the most important thing: insanely good dishes. I tried the "Shakshuka" and was blown away. Thanks for this experience! Worth the slightly higher price. Don't hesitate to go there!

Quality is magnificent. Have spent much of my life in the Middle East and this place is among the best of the restaurants cooking food of the region to my taste. Love the combo of warm service, a managerial partnership that clearly works well, a magnificent beer selection and superb knowledge of dietary requirements...this place is a winner. The interior is also well thought out and makes it very much a 'destination restaurant'.

One of the best levantine restaurants in Taiwan. Owner is really friendly and accommodating, even when busy.
Warm atmosphere and solid cocktails. The only place I've ever seen labneh in Taipei. Would recommend the hummus, merguez, and labneh in particular.

My grandma and I really had a great time experiencing the various flavors in the restaurant. We had the Lanbeh, hummus, chicken skewers, pita, and falafel. My favorite was probably the skewers and the Lanbeh because I had never had those kinds of foods before. The medley of spices on the skewers was surprising and left me wanting more. Talking to Ohana (one of the owners) was really nice, and the other owner/business partner makes really good cocktails. I had the Herbal Gimlet and Blue, and my grandma had the Tiramasu cocktail. I tasted it, and the Tiramasu cocktail is the perfect dessert! Overall, I'm really grateful for my first culinary experience at this establishment and the great conversation I had with Ohana.

Phenomenal vegetarian options! And amazing for non-vegetarians as well. Great vibes. The chef was extra nice explaining each dish in detail, and even how to better enjoy it. The service in general was perfect! Would definitely come back.

Amazing restaurant with beautifully cooked authentic food! Great atmosphere and service, plus the owner was super sweet and a magical chef. Highly recommended, would love to definitely revisit one day. (We ate everything very fast so there are no pictures, but that should speak for itself!)

Superb mid-eastern eat! Chef is kind and caring with each and every meal served to his guests. Falafel and hummus were especially tasty, some of the best I have had. I will return! My special thanks to the chef for the excellent food and hospitality.
