Our tour guide recommended this place while we went to the Qingjing farm, and mentioned that this is one of the top restaurants in the area with good food and nice scenery.

We ordered the fish set to share. Although its stated as a set for 2, I think 4 pax can comfortably eat this set. It has 2 fish dishes, a vegetable dish, an egg dish, a huge pot of fish soup, accompanied with a bucket of rice.The fish dishes were cooked using one whole fish.

I thought the fish was cooked spectacularly, it was fluffy and soft to eat, and both the stir fry and steamed fish dishes hit the spot. The soup was equally tasty. We opted for the ginger soup, and it surprised me at how fresh and refreshing it tasted.

Definitely one of the more memorable meals we had in Taichung area, and the bonus was a good scenery too!

Food served here was really delicious, but I think what stood out was the views. When you enter the restaurant, it looks out into the mountains and stream below and its absolutely gorgeous. The food quality is value-for-money as well!

The fish is nice and smooth and they do it in two flavours for 1 fish so you can enjoy 2 different types of fish taste, the chicken only dip in salt for taste and you can tate the chicken and it's smoky flavour, the dragon beard vegetables is something new, the bite feels like you are biting on vines. The best is you are eating good food and enjoying the scenery. Worth a visit.

The food is great and unique. Local vegetables, interesting chicken and also sturgeon fish. That's pretty rare. The bones are edible. The view is fantastic

If you want great food with a great view it does not get any better than this.
We stopped when we saw the view to get a coffee, however soon decided to have food instead and were not disappointed.
We only ordered a couple of dishes, seeing what everyone else ordered made us decide we would be back though.
Staff were great and the cost is reasonable. Be a perfect spot to go with friends or for a special occasion.

Very unique lunch stop, serving very unique local fare. The scenery is fantastic. The food is very good too. Recommended stop.

Enjoyed my dinner here so much! Dinner with a scenic views.. recommend you come around 4.30-5pm. Not so crowded and also able to see sunset!

Even before entering the restaurant we're already greeted by the aroma of the signature roast chicken! Plenty of potted plants (also the friendly house cat & her kittens!) around the restaurant that gives a cosy & relaxed feel. Food definitely does not disappoint as we ended up ordering a 2nd chicken & other additional dishes to satisfy the old folks & kids who can't get enough of them.

The food is great, portion is so big, the view is amazing too.

We were driving across the country and had just pulled over for a comfort break. And got a very pleasant suprise with the view - Fantastic!

One of the best grilled chicken of Cingjing. The chicken is really juicy. Wild boar stir fry and other dishes are delicious. Skip the soup if you may.

Go in the day... Scenery is very good... took the xun long fish.. cooked in 3 ways.. it is fine.. would recommend this place to a friend.
