Andrew indian restaurant has the most authentic Indian food I've had so far in Taiwan. The set menu for four was excellent--a good tasting menu if you can't decide what to get. (It's what we got.)

Everything was delicious. The lamb curry was exceptional. The service is impeccable. My new favourite indian restaurant in Taiwan. 😍

Pretty authentic Indian food! It reminds me of the Indian curry I had in Singapore. If you can accept the spicy Indian curry in Southeast Asia, make sure to ask the restaurant to make it authentic Indian spicy or else the curry will not be spicy but you’ll have extra hot sauce served on the side. I’ll definitely come back!

Another 5 star authentic Indian place in TC.
Place was packed at lunch so I had to sit at the table right by the entranceway.

Palak paneer was outstanding with authentic flavors, full of aroma and real spices, unlike some other places that were more watered down.  The cheese was also blended very well with the spinach, unlike some other places where they simply threw in the cheese at the end, and made the cheesy flavor stand out too much.

Garlic naan was spot on, with a bit of crispy texture to it, but soft enough for you to pull apart like how a naan is supposed to be.  It was obvious that it came out from a tandori oven, instead of from a frying pan with a flame.

Mango Lassi was very refreshing as well.

Price was on the high side at ~$400 a dish, but the high quality of the food, the high end feel of the ambience along with the top notch service, more than justified the higher price.

Special mention to the main lady staff who provided an exceptional service despite being swamped.  I waited for about an hour before my food arrived, and I was still a super happy customer, all because her hospitality was second to none.  She could speak English too, for those who'd find it useful.  Her service, attitude, and professionalism were that of what is common practice at high end restaurants.  She was an elegant staff with class, who kept things under control like that of a strong anchor.   Two thumbs up for the whole team, including the 2 chefs at the back and the 2 helpers at the front who all worked their butt off for a busy service.  A well deserved 5 star!

If I’m not mistaken, they have 20% off on weekends.  Cash only.  No service charge!

A very friendly restaurant, they will try their best to adjust the spicy level. Very delicious Indian food, especially the lamb.

Came out of nowhere we chose to have Indian lunch. Searched for one with good reviews. 安德魯 Andrew came up from search. We had lunch there.

Owner is Indian, spices are imported, nice to know, so are chefs.

Nan and roti were known to me, the friendly waitress, pretty, by the way, explained the difference. And she also took the effort to explain various dishes so that choices can be made.

The lunch was very enjoyable, cooking is definitely authentic. I was not so good at telling whether the food is Northern or Southern Indian, but chefs are from Delhi!

Strongly recommend to try out here!

Highly recommend set menu for two. All the dishes are tasty especially eggplant curry and salty lasi are my favourites.
Look forward to go again and try different dishes such as biryani and dal curry soon!

Had an amazing experience with the full course meal (set menu). Would recommend it for special occasions or dates. It's a party of flavors.

The service here is amazing! It’s a very cozy place with just a couple of tables. If you want a place that won’t have a lot of people, this is the one! The food is great! We had the set for two people and the food was a lot! We ended up getting a doggy bag.

Delicious Norther Indian food, in a cozy environment, very good service and I will be back soon, sharing more dishes with my friends/relatives.

amazing, amazing Indian food I had with my wife here. $1299 for set menu included so many delicacies and all-you-can-eat naan and rice. we were continuously made sure that the dishes would be adjusted to our liking if they hadn't met our satisfaction. l will definitely come here again.

Food is ridiculously good, best Indian restaurant in Taiwan hands down.

The butter chicken was very good. Everything I tried was delicious. The service was one of best I've had in Taiwan. Had the set meal for two and the price was reasonable and we had more than enough food, even packed up leftovers to take home.

They have a variety of business lunches and dinners for $ 269 which is a bargain for people on a budget.

It’s my first time to eat in this restaurant although I have noticed it for a long time. I was pretty surprised that the nan and roti are both so nice!!! I prefer the nan to be more chewy but some of the places that I ate in Taichung is not, so I really like it in Andrew’s. The curry is also tasty especially they took care of your spicy level😄😁

This is the only restaurant I will review out of four other Indian restaurants I tried during my one week trip to Taichung City in Jan 2020.

I ordered Tandoori Chicken, 2 Tandoori Naans, Dal Tadka and Mango Lassi hoping the food is authentic and quantity is adequate. The food turned out to very authentic North Indian taste. The Tandoori chicken is one of the best I have had with the right marination, seasoning and spices. The quantity was huge. The Tandoori Naan and Dal Tadka were very delicious. The Mango Lassi complemented the food very well.

Not to mention the very hospitable friendly staff and clean atmosphere. I will continue to visit this restaurant until I leave Taichung City. I will miss both Taichung City and this restaurant.

Hands down the best Indian restaurant I’ve visited in Taiwan (trust me, I have been to many). Excellent service and such delicious food. I recommend the set menu for 2 if you’re going with a friend. You will get 2 drinks of your choice, an appetizer, 2 main courses, naan and roti, and dessert for ~500 NTD per head.
