Delicious and creatively crafted cocktails await you at this place. Sitting by the bartender this time, watching them work is truly enjoyable. The staff is excellent and friendly, guiding us to appropriately portioned dishes, minimizing resource waste. They recommended a delightful local whisky, and the small birthday surprise was truly charming. We'll definitely be stopping by again next time. 🥰💕🍹

Best craft cocktail bar. Expansive selection of made to order cocktails, very unique pairing of flavours, excellent descriptive menu so you know what you’re getting. The price is very reasonable for the quality of cocktail you’re getting. English speaking staff, helpful. Very busy during evening, recommend you call in to reserve a seat before coming. I definitely will plan a visit again whenever I’m in Taipei.

I’m not one to drink or enjoy bars but I can hands down fully recommend this bar to anyone who wants to have a good time and enjoy carefully thought out creative drinks. We made a reservation ahead of time and Daphne was our bartender for the night. The music selection was great, the drinks were great, and Daphne was just the most special person to talk to! Everyone was so accommodating - and you can tell the working relationships between the bartenders themselves was great. The menu was really intricate with all personalized drawings and explanations for each drink. Presentation was 💯. We will definitely be coming back when we visit Taipei again. And thank you to Daphne again for your hospitality!

Really interesting cocktails featuring ingredients from Taiwan. Felt like it was very whiskey heavy (as are many bars in Taiwan). Great vibes, sat at the bar and my friend knew the bartender so got many free shots. Try their butter shot– it’s surprisingly refreshing and not too sweet! Would definitely go again.

Well, we have 5 days in Taipei and this is our second time here. The drinks are absolute 💯🤌 The staff are friendly and ✨wonderful ✨Totally worth your visit. They are pretty popular, especially on weekend so make sure you book your table.

Managed to book a table last minute for NYE dinner. We were so hungry, we ordered the ramen and chasu rice for dinner. Then had some finger food and drinks! The jalapeno cheese is my favorite and goes well with the refreshing cocktails they offer 😋

The cocktails are among the nicest I’ve had. They have quite a list of special cocktails.
Edit: Came back here again and went through many more of the signatures with friends, and it was better the second time. The amount of craft and care put into each drink is incredible. As in my other reviews, been to 30 countries and over 120 “creative cocktail bars” and this reaches my top 5 in the world.

Bar Mood in Taipei is a hidden gem with a stylish design and great vibes. The well-designed signature cocktails, categorized by base spirit, are a highlight. The knowledgeable staff adds to the experience, providing recommendations and sharing their expertise. With an average cost of around NT500 per head, it offers excellent value for money. Highly recommended for cocktail enthusiasts seeking a memorable experience.

One of the best bars I've been. The service is exceptional, and I must say, I don't think I've had a better tasting drink than the Call of Gabriel. The vibe of the place is just a great place to sit and have a few drinks and a chat. A must stop bar if in town.

Deserves way more than 4.4, don't let the sourpusses scare you off. 100% one of the best craft cocktails spots in the world.

Beautiful place to have drink with your friends. I love the spaghetti, love also grill pork, 蘿蔔糕and satay chicken. The drink is also nice 奶油調酒， we drink several drink also. Spend 1300NT/ person. On friday we only can stay 2 hours, a bit pity for friday hangout.

Our party of four had a great time at Bar Mood. We reserved a table for two hours on a Friday night, for after-dinner drinks. The atmosphere had a cool vibe - dark, but not too dark; great background music, and friendly, attentive service. It is a very classy bar. The cocktails were creative and delicious.

Founder Nick Wu’s large menu is meticulously detailed and highlights one ingredient per cocktail. A brief summary of each highlighted ingredient accompanies each menu page, with a focus on local Chinese/Taiwanese significance. Tasting notes and illustrations of the drink vessel were also incredibly helpful.

I enjoyed sitting at the bar and being able to admire the skilled mixologists, who were trained to make many different and complex drinks simultaneously. We are talking multi-tasking six different craft cocktails, from memory and seemingly effortlessly, while also being able to make small talk with my friend and I.

In addition to the well-balanced cocktails, the food menu was quite a treat. I only sampled a couple (yuzu mentaiko spaghetti and foie gras turnip cake), but very much enjoyed the elevated spin on comfort food dishes.

A cozy place for friends to get together and enjoy drinks and conversation in the evening.

Very creative bar with variety of choices food, wine and cocktails!
Always felt amazed while tasting every new dish! The owner really put a lot of effort to make everything perfect & everyone happy ! The open kitchen even make customers order more when seeing chef taking care of every dishes !
Recommend worth to visit but be prepared would spending more compared with other bar / or restaurant ! Be sure to make a reservation before going, otherwise might full book!

Loved my time at this bar. Sophisticated yet at the same time very homey. Our server made sure we were well taken care of and did her best to recommend us the cocktails that we would enjoy. All drinks tasted delicious and it was overall a wonderful experience. They have a time limit of 2.5 hours session and because how much we enjoyed our time there, it flew by quickly. I already know that I’m coming back next time when I visit Taipei ❤

Tried couple of their signature cocktails and twists, everything was beautifully crafted.

It was also nice to watch Mao Mao while he is skillfully preparing cocktails.

A place definitely go in Taipei.

Despite being packed, my friend and I were seated at the bar immediately and served water. The menus are packed with information of each drink including sweetness, sourness, smokiness, etc making ordering and perusing really easy. The drinks were quickly and expertly made and presented. Everything tasted solid but the “call it Gabriel” really stood out. The bathrooms are incredibly clean and supplied with pads, floss, tooth picks, and mouth wash. Would definitely come back and recommend this place to others.
