This is not a restaurant but a bakery that specializes in pineapple cakes. In my opinion, their pineapple cakes are amongst the best in Taiwan.

They let you do tasting at the location. You get a portion of either pineapple cake or one of their other options they decide to showcase on the day of your visit and they will pair it with tea. The decor itself is modern chic with a bit of a zen feel to it.

Parking is practically non-existent. You are better off taking the bus here. If you drive, be prepared to park illegally in the neighborhood 😁

As far as I know, their original Pineapple Cake is certified Halal.

Their pineapple cake are not too sweet. Just nice and suitable for older people.

They have variety of selection you can choose. You can see what they have at their main entrance.

A really nice place to hangout and chill. Even if you don't order any souvenir, you can still enjoy a piece of Pineapple/apple cake and constant refill of tea for free!

A very hospitable confectionery - everyone is served complimentary tea and cake. It was lovely just to sit and enjoy the sweets before making our purchase. As with many desserts in Taiwan, the pastries were not excessively sweet and we bought quite a number of boxes as souvenirs to give away to friends back home.

It is not much of a cafe rather it’s an outlet for buying Sunny hills goods. The staff is really nice and polite. They answered my queries in a very polite manner. Also Tried their Apple and Pineapple cake, both tastes amazing but i will give a slight edge to apple cake.
Their oolong tea is the best one i have ever come across, the taste is just perfect. It is neither too strong nor too mild. It just hits the perfect spot.
I am really glad that i got to try their products.

The tea is aromatic and accompanies the pineapple cake really well. It is not overly hot, it is served at the right temperature.

The pineapple cake is the type that highlights the natural sourness of the pineapple so it is not overly sweet. This is the signature of Sunny Hills that makes it different compared to their competitors.

This is so nice , they give you free tea and cake to try and you can buy more if you like it. The apple cakes are so good ! A bit disappointed by the pineapple one tho.

The pineapple cakes are a little expensive, but the experience at the store is quite unique. At the door I was offered fresh tea and a complimentary pineapple cake. Then at the cashier upon purchasing some goods, a free bottle of pineapple juice. Very generous!

They certainly focus on the experience. The moment you arrive you're offered a pineapple tart with light oolong tea - just delightful. The packaging is beautiful - perfect as gifts, and they are even certified halal! Tart is flaky, light and perfect balance of sour and sweet. They are also more expensive than Chia Te, the other popular pineapple tart from Taiwan. Both are comparable taste wise--very enjoyable

During my visit to Sunny Hills Taipei Minsheng Park Store in December 2016, I discovered the epitome of Taiwanese pineapple cakes.

The moment I took a bite, I was transported to a paradise of delicate pastry and luscious pineapple filling. The cakes were perfectly balanced in sweetness and had an irresistible melt-in-your-mouth texture.

One of my favorite Taiwanese snack places. Their service and hospitality is top notch. They serve tea and a complimentary pineapple cake when u visit. I love their pineapple cakes so much! Can’t wait to try out the new banana egg rolls n apple strawberry cakes.

Finally came back for the first time after many years, this time got to try the pineapple salted egg mooncake. Omg, one of the best I've ever had!!! Please come here before mooncake festival to try. Service and ambiance were also excellent as always.

Delicious pineapple cake, friendly service. Lovely shop located in a quiet neighborhood. Serving a piece of pineapple cake with a cup of tea or banana cookie with a cup of coffee for free. Difficult to find a parking space.

One of the best pineapple cakes in Taipei. Very different from other brands and this is perhaps the most pricey one.

Enjoyed the tea and sample when you arrive here. Try the seasonal specials such as glazed apple cake.

Highly recommend to consume or as a gift.

Free sample of one of their cakes with a cup of tea! I was given an apple cake which had nice flavour and wasn't too sweet. I ended up buying a box of pineapple cake to try and they had a pleasant sour flavour to them.

My favorite pineapple cake store. They provide a complimentary cake and tea snack where you can sit down and chill. The space feels more like a posh cafe than a pastry shop. Chia Te the other famous pineapple cake shop is also about 800m away.
