East Dragon Hotel

The room, location and price are unbeatable. I was a bit nervous when reading low review after booking. However, I was lucky enough to get the new renovated room (it was automatic lock). The bed was comfy and no weird smell in the room at all. The location is super convenient, near Ximen station and Ximending market. All good food just within 5 min walk so I don't think you need breakfast at the hotel. The staffs were all helpful and friendly. It's true that the wifi could be unreliable. It could be off for 15-20 min then back. I think it's a con if you're travelling for work and plan to work in your room. However, for leisure trip like me, I spent most time outside so I don't think it's that important. Also, the sound proof is indeed not good. If the rooms nearby are noisy, you could easily hear that. However, it could be solved by headphone I guess. I was lucky that all nearby room were mostly quiet at night - except the early morning of new year's eve but that's understandable. Overall, I'm happy with my stay and definitely will book again as the pros are way more than cons.

Overall happy with my experience, especially with the service of the staff and the cleanliness of the room. Location of the hotel was great too! My only comment is a slight smell coming from the restroom.

Mine must stay hotel whenever my wife and me visit Taipei. Room size and comfort is just right for us. Location and Cleaniness and Service are 100 marks 🙂🙏👍

We recently stayed in this hotel and I really had a pleasant stay. I loved the location of the hotel because it is in the busy area of Taipei. When you leave the hotel, there are restaurants, convenience stores, cafes, right when you exit the hotel. The room was very clean and the view from our window was great. The bed is a little hard though but I still slept well. The staff was very friendly, one woman who works there named Emily, was extremely nice and helped us with all our inquiries. I would recommend this hotel to a friend and when I go back to Taipei, I would like to stay here again.

Excellent location with lots of street food and shops around the area. We booked a family quart room. It's spacious and clean. Will book again in future.

East dragon hotel is located in the Xi Men Ding area. Which is very near to the shopping district. Many food and convenient mart around the hotel.
Just in front of the hotel there is a Family Mart outlet and by just walking into the shopping district you can find many hawker stall that sell delicious food.

Hotel clean, staffs helpful, very strategic location. Good for Shopping, easy to get food . Many restaurants around and streat food etc. Stay for 4 nights family trip.

Best hotel I have stayed in ximending. Service rendered by hotel staff is top notched & sincere. Definitely e hotel to consider when you are looking for one in ximending area.

Hotel is kinda old. Excellent service and very good location (Right next to Ximan). Great value!
