Ueshima Coffee Zhongxiao Dunhua Shop

A lovely place to sit and enjoy coffee and a meal. Only serves drip coffee (no espressos). The inside was very nicely decorated and had a relaxed cafe atmosphere. Ordered the toast and egg combo which came with a coffee. The Kokutou coffee was pretty sweet with fresh milk.

I love coming here for breakfast, even though it is on the pricy side. The toast with butter, egg and thick cut bacon together with an iced coffee are phenomenal.

Delicious long black (I had the blend). Tasty thick toast. Legit jazz: Chet Baker, Dexter Gordon, Sonny Clark, Lee Morgan. Prices on par with $tarbucks but better coffee and ambiance.

Love the breakfast here although there only have few seats have the charger. There don’t have minimum order, and expect the breakfast set (before 11am) during 11:00-14:00 have the lunch set menu as well.

And there also have bread, famous cake and coffee dropper here.

4mo ago - was supposed to meet a friend at another coffee shop but mistakenly came here and bought a sandwich + coffee, then realized my mistake and dashed off before the food was ready.

Today - lady at the counter recognized me, remembered my abandoned order and gave me a free replacement order. Incredible! 👏👏👏

This Cafe is a small miracle, with a short selection of fantastic sandwiches and soups. salads and drinks, a perfect place to get take out. The bakery part is short and sweet, with a very limited selection, but the quality is always tops. Its a bit difficult to park in the area, so expect to walk in and wait for a few minutes while your food is being prepared. This is a rather famous branch of the already well known Ueshima shops, because, while each store shares the name brand, this store is busy enough to keep things really fresh and the staff is professional enough to make you always feel that you are being attended to accordingly. If you want great sandwiches, and you know the menu as to what fits your taste, you can expect to bite into some nicely prepared food with the componenets selected to maintain the good reputation of the store, all of which are well deserved.

If you want a really good coffee this is the place to go, there's English on the menus and the staff speak it pretty well so ordering is not an issue for tourists. I particularly recommend the ice cream coffee, it's a great pick me up and treat all in one very posh tankard style mug. You'll not get coffee served like this in the big chains back home.

it's a famous Chain store restaurant from Japan where you could have a nice coffee vs sandwiches from morning to night, so if you got no time for lunch.... suggest that you could take a break at tea time. the interior Space is very nice for relaxing by warm lighting systems.

A cafe in the midst of the bustling city center with great atmosphere within and most important to a cafe, great coffee. Seating is abundant and able to cater to a variety of uses such as for personal studying, a date perhaps, or group hangouts. The layout of the interior segregates itself into one more open and the other more narrow of spaces, with the only complaint here being the occasional difficulty of hearing your order being shouted by the waitresses across the stretch of space. Service is great, as to be expected in Taiwan. The majority of the menu is in bold english behind the counter, making for an English-friendly experience without the fuss of pointing and jabbing at particular photos of coffees printed and placed somewhere. Lastly, there are sandwiches and other snacks offered that, at least regarding the ones I've tasted, are delicious and freshly prepared. A special recommendation by meof the soy latte sold here that blows the other competing soy lattes in taipei out of the water.

One of the best coffee in town. UCC coffee come with variety of simple food available, sandwiches as well. Breakfast set is available. Some timing will get a little bit crowded. Good coffee come with cozy environment. Worth to try.
