Sardin Balık Restaurant

The food here is so delicious and the sea bass we ordered was so fresh. Prawns with garlic and fried calamari were excellent too. The staff are very friendly and accommodating too. We went in winter and there was no outdoor seating. But when my husband and I were getting bothered by the cigarette smoke indoors, the staff very kindly moved a table for us outside away from the cigarette smoke and served us outdoors. Thank you for the magnificent food and excellent service! Prices are very affordable too. 730 turkish lira for 1 sea bass (which they kindly cut into two for my husband and I, and de-boned it), 1 fried calamari, and prawn with garlic.

One of the best meals of our trip! They showed us the meze fridge and fresh fish and helped put together a dinner. One of the waiters (unfortunately I didn’t get his name) spoke good English and was so friendly and helpful. We got a salad, fish soup, eggplant dip, fish egg, and grilled sea bass. The fish egg cooked in butter was amazing, and the grilled fish was cooked perfectly. I was stuffed at the end.
For all of that, it was around 1000 lira/$35 USD. Few people in the reviews complaining about it being expensive, but they were very transparent about the price before we committed to ordering, and for that price it was a very good meal. I’ve had much worse food for much higher prices in Istanbul, this restaurant had very fair pricing.

Amazing restaurant right in the middle of kemeralti market. Really fresh seafood, amazing service (English speaking) and great atmosphere. Dinner for 2 with beers was 550 lira

Wow the place amazed us with fresh and delicious food. This gem is hidden inside the Izmir bazar and has a lot to offer. We discovered it on Google Maps and what proved that is spot on! Our dinner was a delicious sea bass completely de-boned with shrimps 🍤 and some vegetables 😋 the taste WoW the staff 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. I will not think twice if I am in Izmir this is to go place! And lots of great Cats 🐱.

Enfes bi yer. Mezeler çok lezzetli idi. Balıklardan barbun yedik o da çok guzel tam kıvamında kızartılmıstı. Midye tava da çok güzeldi. Çoban salatasının tüm malzemeleri doğal ve çok taze idi. Güleryüzü ile bize doğru ve yeterli seçim yaptıran çalışanlara ise ayrıca teşekkür etmek gerekiyor. Mutlaka tavsiye ediyorum. 💯 araçla geliyorsanız kemeraltının girişinde park etmelisiniz.
