Sevinç Pastanesi - Alsancak

We came here after so many recommendations. The place is running since 1957. They take cake orders and also having ready sliced and full cakes.

You could also find big variety of milk desserts.

We took strawberry cake with puff pastry, banana cake, iced latte and tea. Everything was fresh and tasty.

Staff was friendly and prices were a bit above average.

A must visit patisserie in the heart of Izmir. They offer a great selection of desserts as well as traditional savory bakes. Stop here for a tasty break during your visit to the city

Amazing fresh pastries and friendly service, in the centre of Izmir. The cakes are prepared daily and the personnel speaks English. Ice creams are also delicious but strawberry cakes are the real deal!

Excellent sweet and coffee shop on a very busy street corner. Not cheap 45TL for coffee, 66TL cake, but the quality and service is there. Cakes are fresh and sweet, not sticky, not oily, not too sweet. Texture is well done as well. It's easy to make bad cake, hope nobody notices. Tricky to make good.

Nice place, and amazing desserts! I had the San Sebastian cake which was a mere 24 Lira, one of the better cakes I've had.

This place is a proper patisserie. The cake was well made with high quality ingredients, and consequently was not over sugared. Highly recommended.

Every city has a meeting point and this is the case for Izmir. Sevinç bakery shop is the meeting point for locals for over 50 years. It is a small shop but good enough to have a drink and delicious cake. Pavlova cake is the speciality of Sevinç and it is one of the best cakes that i have ever eaten.

The pavlova cake was fresh and one of the best I ever had. I had several other deserts and pastries from Sevinç earlier and they were all great. It is a must visit place in Izmir for sure.

Traditional meeting location. Expensive but high quality. So difficult to find a place to park your car.

We almost went there everyday to eat only one Turkish traditional sweet called Kazandibi :)

I have been several times to this pastryshop and I was always happy with their quality of pastry AND coffee.... simply the best in town. Only competition might come from Istanbul!? Agreable to sit, inside our outside, nice and distinguished service, classy interior, up level to world standard.

Bought a "Bomba" and my friend some handmade pralinés. All super tasty. Also a famous meeting point in Alsancak because everyone knows it. :)

Omg the best desert I've tried in my whole life! Will be back for sure!

Outstanding desserts with great taste. A little bit pricey for tukish standarts but is worth the money.
