Şans Restaurant

I've been to the restaurant 3 times, here are my considerations:
LOCATION: good location, large and beautiful entrance, clearly visible restaurant.
FOOD AND PRICES: The salad was a little tasteless, I wouldn't recommend it.
The risotto and pasta were delicious, very well made.
about prices: I included a photo of the menu in the review, I believe it is a little expensive.
EMPLOYEES: always very attentive, available when needed and the manager is very friendly too.
DRINKS: wines and juices are delicious!
I highly recommend going to the restaurant, I was treated very well!

Beautiful setting and atmosphere. Pleasantly surprised to find this Turkish restaurant behind the busy streets in Levent. Staffs were very attentive and friendly. Without much expectation, I enjoyed both appetizers. The zucchini was prepared perfectly and the yoghurt source complemented the flavours. Fish soup was quite nice too and the fish in the soup was tender. I’m specifically impressed with the main. It was likely the best kebab I have ever had. The meat was juicy and tender. The sauce, pepper and breads in the dish made the dish so great to eat. There are selection of desserts and a big variety of wine to select from. It’s a wonderful dinning experience at Sans.

I enjoyed my meal here, think a larger (local group) party was enjoying cigars & drinks in the main dining room out front, so I asked to sit adjacently; it seemed like a popular celebratory type of restaurant. Had the salad (app) with avacado & lamb dish with a couple of sides, liked the orange-pumpkin colored breads... It was pricy compared to other spots but it seemed fancy (since I'm a tourist-farangie); service charge was assessed (? Planned on a tip regardless) but Lamb was great, wine was great and my waiter was amazing enough to pour a new glass after I spilled my drink, amazing Turkish hospitality!

It has been a while since I last went there but have gone there a few times and in all of them i was mesmerized by the taste and homeliness of their plates. I certainly recommend it for anyone who can visit the place to do so.
Probably already mentioned elsewhere but the fact that you as a customer see them prepare the dough and make the laghmen right there in the kitchen is a wonderful experience. Uyghur laghmen is a meticulous recipe to make with its dough kneading the hardest part, and to see that live is indeed a great experience.

The Turkish guy at the cashier is extremely incompetent. I think it’s best to fire the guy off.
I was also told they don’t provide takeouts

Great service, quality, high-end food, and very friendly staff who speak English and Turkish. Lovely chef and they help you to get a taxi at the end of your evening.

Had an amazing meal with a group of friends. Chef Rudolf is a mastermind! Took us in a round the world tasting menu. Everything about the night was great, food, wines, and most all the staff. I highly recommend anyone in Istanbul to come visit. Many of the items used for cooking come from their own garden.

Always a delight to eat there. May it be lunch or dinner, cosy environment, great service by a staff that is there for years, including the lovely parrot. The food is always high quality. Rest assured you will be good taken care of.

Been going here for a long time, it is an institution to say the least. Ideal for business lunch and dinner or a formal date. Food is of high quality; never less than excellent but some dishes need further effort to stand out. Service is very friendly and professional and the ambience is very good, especially in the garden. They know about wine and have a solid list of local wines. Definitely a fav!

Always a great experience here. Not much people and outside terrace, so a perfect place “covid-19”-compliant !

The menu is top. Do not hesitate to explain your wishes and constraints (allergies...) the chef will do everything possible to match with your dreams.

Great sorbets for desserts (karadut, mandarine, chocolate...)

The food was very good. Ok fine dining so not the largest of portions (Americans take note...!) but so good. But every course a winner. The staff were delightful, helpful, courteous and attentive without being overbearing. I especially loved the carrot soup that came inside a large loaf. A gentle ambience in a lovely place and the lamb dishes we tried were sumptuous. Highly recommended.

Wow, this place is amazing had the most prefect lunch here. The service was just fabulous, they recommend great dishes that came out with great time. The decor itself was pleasant tidy and very easy on the eye. It just added to our relaxing meal. If you have time to head here you should!

Authentic Turkish food. Nice outdoor seating, courteous service.

Every time I visit Istanbul i make sure to visit their resturant.

However i’ve noticed the staff isn’t happy anymore and their serving became unfriendly for unknown reason
