Swissôtel The Bosphorus Istanbul

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Swissôtel Bosporus in Istanbul, and I must say it was a truly great experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly and helpful staff who made me feel welcome throughout my stay. Communication was a breeze, as the staff's English skills were excellent.

One aspect that stood out to me was the outstanding service provided by the hotel. No matter what I needed assistance with, the staff was always ready to help, and their efficiency was impressive. I particularly want to commend Balik Canon, the breakfast manager, and his team. They were not only polite but also incredibly fast in delivering an amazing breakfast experience. The breakfast itself was nothing short of amazing, offering a wide variety of delicious options.

Based on my experience, I can confidently say that I will definitely be returning to this 5-star hotel on my next visit to Istanbul. The Swissôtel Bosporus is a top-notch establishment that combines friendly and attentive service with a fantastic breakfast experience.

We enjoyed a delicious meal to celebrate the lunar new year - our waiter Mehmet was excellent! Kind, helpful and allowed us to have a most pleasant evening 🙏🏼🧿 (we are locals😊)

Beautiful hotel. Great views over the Bosphorus River. Breakfast & evening drinks watching the cruise ships & boats on the busy River. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Hotel gym & indoor/outdoor pool worth using. Restaurant around the pool has very good food. Only downside was if you plan on walking you have 2 very steep hills to get down to the main road. Not great to walk up in the heat.

Pros:

1. Bed/Pillow comfort.
2. Quietness in room.
3. Room service.
4. Definition of 5 star hotel.

Cons:

1. Hotel located up hill, you may not feel comfortable to walk. But request Taxi.

2. Keep watch on your belongs from housekeeping. We had experience where they stole our baby food. I think this is common problem in Turkey. Management hotel tried to solve the problem.

3. Room service menu needs add more different dishes.

Best location, extremely gentle people, great staff. Always available when needed. The food was amazing. The view from the spacious room is wonderful. I think it is on the high-end spectrum of hotels in Istanbul (if not the best).

Swissotel is the best in Istanbul hands down! The breakfast here is insane, so many varieties of food with lots of healthy options! Our server Mehmet is the best ever, he made sure to take really good care of us during the whole breakfast by bringing coffee, making sure to clean up our plates when we are done. I would give him 10 stars if I could!

Nice hotel, staff is very friendly, breakfast very good, the bed its like sleeping on the clouds very comfortable. Since we were traveling with kids this hotel was too quiet, no entertainment for kids, nether for adults but maybe when you are in Istanbul all entertainments is waiting for you in the city.

The guy who workes at reception Berk absolutely amazed me, his level and approach of attitude is how it should be for a 5 stars hotel.

The hotel overall was amazing. But what made it truly special were the people who catered to our every need. One person in particular was Hayal, who made sure the room was cleaned and provided above and beyond service. I thank her and everyone who worked there. Will definitely be back soon.

Very classy hotel. There is a security check point for all cars coming onto the grounds as well as a bag check when you enter. Pretty typical for nicer hotels in Turkey.

The conference rooms and area of the hotel and huge. It’s all under ground, yet somehow not. Just downstairs from the lobby.

We had such a pleasant evening at the Madhus Indian Restaurant. The atmosphere, food and service were great. Ozal looked after us, gave us recommendations and had a smile throughout the whole service, thank you! Our favourite dish was the prawns and we highly recommend the buttered chicken, unreal. Also the garlic naan bread. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful hotel. The rooms are modern and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We loved the rich breakfast in the morning. Location-wise it’s not at the tourist sights which is a bit a downside but around 20min by taxi you can reach all sights in Istanbul.

We will definitely come back to Swissotel in Istanbul.

We chose Swiss The Bosphorus hotel for my visit this weekend. Everything started very well with the warm and friendly welcome of Mr. Mert from security at the entrance. Then we checked in and paid for our stay. Our room had a Bosphorus view and was a very nice room. (1205) I recommend it. All needs have been considered in the wonderful room. We had a very enjoyable dinner with the wonderful organization of Mr. Cumhur and Mr. Haluk at Chalet Garden, where we made a reservation in advance to taste Swiss local dishes for dinner. Everything was so good that we were very pleased. In the morning, we left the hotel after having breakfast at Sabrosa restaurant, accompanied by the view, with the beautiful attention of Ms. İrem. Thank you to all Swiss employees. You definitely need to experience it.

This Hotel is located close to the Historical parts of Istanbul, which is fascinating in itself! Dolmabahçe palace is literally a walk down the hotel, so is the Bosphorus, Grand Bazaar a short distance of a drive, and so much more. Beautiful place, beautiful location.

This hotel is incredible! 1st class luxury with amazing food. We stayed here for my cousins wedding in 2019 and we enjoyed every moment. The only thing I can complain is they charged me heavy on the items we used inside the room!

The views and rooms were lovely. Service was great! Our room maid, Deniz, was very polite and made sure our room was spotless everyday. Would definitely stay again.
