Worth the visit castle and underwater are in the same place, so I do recommend to buy the pack of both sites.

Took us about 2 hours to see it.
Also if you are lucky 🍀 you can see the beautiful peacocks 🦚.

Ticket was 30€ per 2 people

Bodrum Castle is a captivating blend of history and beauty. The well-preserved medieval fortress offers a mesmerizing journey through time, with its impressive architecture and stunning views of the Aegean Sea. The museum inside is a treasure trove of artifacts, adding depth to the experience. A must-visit gem on if you're in Bodrum.

Very much worth visiting. Entry is 500try per person which includes the glass museum. Took about 1.5hrs to go throughout the whole castle. Recently renovated and was surprisingly good compared to some other Turkish historical sites we had visited that were in a bit of disrepair

This imposing structure, built by the Knights of St. John in the early 15th century, is the most prominent feature of Bodrum. Really interesting to visit. Lots of historical information and displays.

It's a beautiful castle with great views and nice selection of items in the exposition. They had a story and it was easy to gain interest in it. It covers a lot of different eras that this castle has been used.
The findings were impressive, especially the shipwrecks and everything rescued from them.
There are great views to the sea and the port from the castle. And there is also a peacock!
There are two canteens and a bathroom in the castle.
The ticket is a bit expensive, roughly 15 euros, but I think it's worth it. A very nice place in Bodrum, worth visiting.

If your travels take you to Bodrum, the castle is well worth a visit. Built by the Knights Hospitaller in the 14th century to defend against the Ottoman's, the enormous structure was a multi-national effort and contains four towers: the Italian, German, English, and French. It also houses the museum of underwater archaeology. The views over the Aegean and Bodrum Harbor are magnificent.

I'm very happy to have visited this place. Just made me realize that Bodrum was actually antique Halicarnassus, home of the Mausolus tomb - one of the 7 wonders of the antique world.

We came for the sunset view, but were pleasantly surprised by the content of the visit. History of the region, population settlements, archeology from the various periods. Nicely divided in the different towers and rooms. Adding more direction signs could help navigating the site but it's not so huge anyway.

We enjoyed a lot. Quite worth the time and money!

Fanatic tourist spot steeped in history. From 4th century pottery to arrow heads and gold jewellery. There's something to see everywhere and the views over the harbour are fantastic too.

Excellent museum and castle worth the time to visit. Entry is on the western side of the castle, and the visit itself is well organized to visit all parts of the castle in order. As you walk around the ramparts, admire the view of the sea and town, the artefacts from the sea wrecks, and the inscriptions telling the story of the construction of the castle by the Order of St. John. In summer, the museum rooms have air conditioning to give you some respite and toilets are available during the visit. Some rooms have graffiti from the 1500s ... Amazing.

This place is very special, its belongs to a wonder of the ancient world found in modern-day Turkey, the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus was a tomb built around 350 BC. Sometimes you can enjoy concerts or some performances in this place. This place is absolutely have to be visited during the day and if there is any nice events also at the evening time.

Big castle with beautiful view to the sea and yachts. Highly recommend to use MüzeKart, because you can get there for free. Also on the territory you may see peacocks 🦚 and now there is an exhibition about wreck boats.

Lovely castle and lots to see. The steps are very uneven so wear decent shoes. Keep an eye out for the peacocks wandering around, especially the albino ones, they are beautiful with their white feathers.
The displays of the items recovered from local shipwrecks are astounding. Many of the pieces are fully intact and some date back to the 5th century.
We spent 2-3 hours there in total.

Very interesting medieval castle built by the Knights Hospitalier during the 1400-1500 period.

Fascinating architecture with many carved stone crests in the walls, a mosque and ramparts with views over the bay and town.

Many interesting displays and artefacts recovered from marine archaeology sites explaining how the pieces were recovered from several nearby shipwrecks dating back to 700BC.

Spent over 2 hours here so not bad value at 500 lira (€15) each. Well worth a visit.

This castle was incredible! It was huge, there's lots to look at. They have lots of information on shipwrecks as well. Lots of stairs and uneven ground so be prepared for that. The views of the harbor are beautiful too. Definitely would recommend coming here!

Built on 1402 by Knight Hospitallers as the castle of St. Peter. And then taken over by Ottoman empire in 1523. After 1960, it became the bodrum Museum of Underwater. In 2016, it became the Unesco World of Heritage List.

One of the guests will go and visit the place. Get yourself a museum card if you are going to visit more historic places more cheaper.

Great experience, way bigger than we initially thought. Definitely worth the visit! 150 TL for a ticket or 1000 TL for 15 day pass that works for almost all of the museums in the country. If you are a Turkish citizen or have an id number it's 60 TL and 30 TL for students for the whole year. I recommend using Museum Card app for buying those since there is usually an huge line during the summer season but there is no need to bother if you are visiting off season since it's pretty empty. There is also an extra section that you have to pay 50 TL, if you plan on visiting that, remember to purchase your extra ticket before entering, i don't know if you can purchase those in the app since there was no line we didn't check.
