Bodrum Ancient Theatre

Very nice place with good views of the bay and castle. Entry is free, you just have to be careful when crossing the road as it's 4 lanes with no crosswalk.

Beautiful, not very many people were there during the weekday morning. I recommend a visit! No tickets or reservation required. Some parking on site.

THIS IS WONDERFUL PLACE VIEW OF THE SEA FROM HERE IS FANTASTIC, GOVERNMENT NEED TO RENOVATE THIS PLACE TO ATTRACT MORE TOURIST IT CAN BE MADE MORE SPECIAL THAN IT IS NOW.

Dropped off by bus on the way to bodrum . Nice views . Got to take care crossing road . Partly repaired .

We were here for the concert, and the ambiance was truly special at night. Especially during the summer, I highly recommend booking a good concert or other shows here. The prices are competitive.

Fun venue! I recommend you bring a small towel to sit on as the seating will be a little dirty (only if this sort of thing bothers you)

It's free and an amazing spot to get some decent photos of a remarkable piece of history. It's walkable from the city but a bit of a slog, around 30 minutes. There's also a lovely view over bodrum from the place as well as it's high up & looks over the town & the sea! Worth a look!

A really good place to see the ruins of old city.
Government maintained it really well and you will even find security on the site.
The view from top of it is really beautiful, you can see whole bodrum from there.
It's not so far from the old castle, you can walk easily here.

Amphitheatre, well preserved, free entry, can spend 25-30 minutes here, walking distance from bodrum centre.

The Antique Theatre of Bodrum, locally famous as the Amphitheatre is a structure from the ancient Halikarnassus (4th century BC). From the top you can see the panaromic views of Bodrum, and my god its breathtaking. It can host about 13000 people and has been used for film shoots (Fir ex: Dil Dhadakne Do), concerts, festivals etc. I spent about an hour here last week.

Its an ancient theatre in Bodrum built in 4th century BC.A very good old greek theatre example located very close to the city center. AFter a restoration in 1960's it became an important place for concerts,festivals etc. Great view of the Bodrum bay while visit during the day time.
