Seğmenler Parkı

A very beautiful and well-organised park! It has trees, flowers, birds and a lovely little stream that flows throughout the park, whose sound is very soothing and plenty of birds take cute baths in the water. The park has an open air amphitheatre (from which we heard electronic music playing one Friday night), plenty of benches to sit on, a children’s playground complete with some statues of Snow White and her seven dwarves (which are a little weird and scary tbh), and an outdoor gym with a lot of different pieces of equipment. The park is very well kept and clean, and not too busy since there is plenty of space to accommodate visitors. It seemed that this park is mostly frequented by close friend groups and couples who visit to share some drinks and laughter together while escaping the busyness of the city.

Great. Right in the heart of the city and so green. This is considered the central park of Ankara. You can enjoy this park differently on each season. In winter time it is great when it is all white. It is also great to lay on the grass and enjoy some soft drinks under the stars.

We spent a few hours there lying on the grass.

It’s a good place to escape the city scape of Ankara. Filled with couples making out and teenagers listening to Turkish rap.

There is shop at the entrance where you can buy snacks. You might find quite a few foreigners since there are quite a few embassies nearby.

The loveliest place in Ankara. beatuful views all over the seasons. Good people and you can bring your drinks there. its place is wonderful while its next to all the embassies. a lot of nearby amazing places that you can find all your needs.

Nice open space, within the city. Looks a bit dated and scruffy, but set out well, with children's play areas, open grass and an exercise area. Well used and loved by locals.

A relatively tiny strip of green in an otherwise built up fancy part o town. As it seems the custom in Türkiye security is visible and ready to spoil anyone's fun. No such thing as picnic on grass but correct me if I am wrong. It still gives a pleasant respite from heat and crowds.

Wonderful park for refreshment and recreational activities

One of the best parks of Ankara to have a bit break from the city's hectic life. Good for walking the pets (but make sure to clean after them as people rest on the grass).

Want to feel some chill vibes, rest in the grass, have some drinks with your friends, this is the place to meet at , also very near Tunalı street which makes it great if you later feel like eating something near.
