Wonderful family restaurant with Turkish home cooking run by a friendly couple. We ordered a grilled meat dish, beans and soup and a rice pudding like desert, and two Turkish teas. Absolutely delightful and price is very affordable and honest. It’s off the Main Street, hidden in the side street across from “Casablanca Restaurant” in the main shopping area across from the harbor. Enjoy!

Absolutely stunning, food is so delicious, serving is so good two times cleaned the table while I was waiting for the food that ordered, also free Turkish tea, very nice traditional Turkish food. Which I ordered tas kebab, basmati rice and white bean on top, and delicious CACIK

Husband and wife owned and run. The husband helped us with choices and we got a table full of food for very good price. So foods were just ok, but most was very good! The have two awards for their food and it shows.

This is a great little family-run restaurant, tucked away in a pedestrianized area. In a country that is very meat-heavy, they were able to accommodate my dietary limitations (can't eat red meat for medical reasons) and provide a spread of five or six delicious vegetable dishes for us. There isn't a menu, it's more a matter of looking at what's available and choosing what you want. For the record, three soups , half a dozen vegetable dishes (plus one meat) to share and (non-alcoholic) drinks came to just over £5 per person.

The family-run, super-relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere of the place is great. We were there during the Eid holiday and the kids were playing in the restaurant, being utterly charming. For what it's worth, the head guy speaks excellent English.

We came to this restaurant by accident, tired after a long trip. The owner was very pleasant, explained the wonders of traditional Turkish cuisine to us and let us taste before ordering. All food is homemade by the owners wife. The taste of the food was exquisite and we enjoyed the real turkish experience. We finished with a traditional tea. 5/5, recommended.

There is no menu - you go inside and pick your dishes, and then share family style. Can’t wait to visit again!

This is by far the best place we found for an authentic Turkish meal with lovely family service. We even came back for a second meal. You have to try it.

If you’re looking for an authentic meal that is not a tourist trap, eat here. Such an amazing feast, home cooked and healthy goodness and warm hospitality. Definitely an authentic experience and highly recommended. I couldn’t believe how little the meal costed. Ali the owner is so nice and generous in every aspect. Definitely coming again!!

A hidden gem! Incredible authentic home style food and sincere waiters. Their kofte is the best we’ve had in all of Turkey!
